Natai Beach, Phang Nga

Natai Beach is a 10 km stretch of deserted, palm-lined coast in Phang Nga Province, lying midway between Khao Lak and the northern tip of Phuket Island. Unlike the busier Khao Lak beaches to the north, Natai has seen deliberate, low-density development — just a handful of ultra-luxury resorts occupy the whole length of shore, making it one of the most private and peaceful beach destinations in Thailand.

Transfer from Khao Lak to Natai Beach

Natai Beach is approximately 20 km south of Khao Lak along Highway 4, making it a short private-car journey from the main Khao Lak resort strip. Khao Lak Land Discovery offers transfers to Natai Beach from ฿1,550 one-way — the closest major beach corridor after Khao Lak itself. From Phuket Airport, Natai is approximately 40 km (45–55 minutes).

Getting Around Natai

Natai Beach has no town centre, market, or public transport. Visitors rely entirely on their resort’s shuttle service or a pre-arranged private driver for restaurant outings, day trips, and airport connections. The nearest shops and restaurants are in Khao Lak town, roughly 20 minutes north. Despite its seclusion, Natai sits within easy reach of the region’s best experiences: the Similan Islands snorkelling day trip and the Phang Nga Bay kayaking tour both depart from piers 30–45 minutes away and can be joined directly from Natai.
