Exact timings flex with conditions and traffic — your guide sequences the stops to keep them calm rather than rushed. This is how the day usually runs.

Immerse yourself in the authentic market atmosphere and observe everyday life in Thailand up close.
On your onward journey, you will make a short stop at a viewpoint.
Enjoy the view over the forested region and take a few photos – or pause for a moment and let nature work its magic on you.
Get to know Thailand's national animal: the Asian elephant.
Your guide will be on hand with important tips and interesting facts so that you can encounter these impressive animals respectfully and safely. After getting to know the animals, you will have the opportunity to prepare food for the elephants, feed them and bathe with them.

A freshly prepared Thai lunch awaits you at the Rock & Treehouse Resort.
Fortify yourself for the next experiences and enjoy the atmosphere of this extraordinary accommodation.

After lunch, you will go on a relaxing and impressive canoe trip along the Sok River. While our experienced paddle guides steer the boat safely, you can enjoy the trip and let your gaze wander over the landscape.
Your hands are free to take unforgettable photos. Sleeping snakes, turtles or monkeys often make an appearance – so don't forget your camera!
Visit Wat Tam Panturat Temple, which is famous for the long-tailed macaques that live there.
During the canoe trip, you may have already seen some monkeys on the riverbank – now you have the opportunity to observe these animals in their natural environment, but always from a safe distance.
At the same time, you will gain insights into Thai culture.

Check dates & book →This three-day discovery tour includes return transfers from Khao Lak, an overnight stay in a treehouse at Rock & Treehouse Resort (Night 1), a longtail boat trip to Cheow Lan Lake and an overnight stay in floating raft-house bungalows (Night 2), guided jungle activities, wildlife spotting, a canoe trip on the Sok River, meals as per the itinerary, and national park entrance fees.
You stay in two very different settings. Night 1 is at Rock & Treehouse Resort — a rustic treehouse perched in the Khao Sok jungle canopy, ideal for hearing the forest come alive at dusk and spotting wildlife at dawn. Night 2 is in floating raft-house bungalows on Cheow Lan Lake, set against dramatic limestone cliffs. Both accommodations are simple and comfortable — the charm is the location, not the luxury.
It runs over three days and two nights. Because the lake raft houses have limited capacity, we recommend booking well in advance, especially in high season.
Pack light: swimwear, quick-dry clothes, insect repellent, reef-safe sunscreen, a light rain layer, sturdy sandals or trekking shoes, a torch, and any personal medication. A dry bag for electronics is recommended for the boat journeys.
Families are welcome and the experience is memorable for children. Some activities involve swimming and kayaking on the lake; life jackets are provided. Let us know your group's ages and swimming ability so we can tailor the activities.
Yes — the treehouse is a core part of this tour, not an optional add-on. On Night 1 you stay at Rock & Treehouse Resort, elevated in the Khao Sok jungle canopy. The forest setting is completely different from the lake: expect jungle sounds after dark, monkeys at dawn, and a real sense of being inside the rainforest. The treehouse plus the floating lake bungalow on Night 2 together make this tour the most complete Khao Sok experience KLLD offers.
Day 1: Pick-up from your Khao Lak hotel (~08:00), short stop at Takua Pa morning market, elephant encounter (bathing and feeding), lunch at Rock & Treehouse Resort, canoe trip on the Sok River, visit to Wat Tam Panturat Temple, dinner and overnight at the treehouse. Day 2: Jungle breakfast, morning drive to Ratchaprapa Dam, longtail boat across Cheow Lan Lake, check-in to floating bungalows, jungle hike to Pakarang Cave, dinner and overnight on the raft house. Day 3: Sunrise swim or canoe, longtail boat back to the pier (passing the Three Brothers limestone peaks), stop at Khao Thep Phitak suspension bridge, swimming stop at Ban Nam Rad Lagoon, return to Khao Lak hotel (~18:00).
The 2-day Cheow Lan Lake tour focuses entirely on the lake: you travel directly to Ratchaprapa Dam, stay one night in floating bungalows, and return the next day. The 3-day tour adds a full first day in the Khao Sok jungle — elephant encounter, Sok River canoe, and an overnight in a treehouse — before heading to the lake on Day 2. If you want the complete Khao Sok experience (forest canopy by night AND lake at dawn), choose the 3-day. If your time is limited and the lake bungalow is the priority, the 2-day is the right fit.
