This was a really nice half day trip. We went on a short trek on a beautiful big elephant. We then got to swim with and bathe the elephant after the trek which they apparently really like. That was one of the coolest things ive done. We fed her a basket of bananas which was also great fun. We then went to a nearby waterfall and had a lovely lunch which was a really nice end to the tour. Highly recommend this experience.
We just arrived home from a week in Khao Lak and while there we did three day tours with Khao Lak Land Discovery. From the moment we were picked up from our hotel on day one we were impressed with how professionally everything was run and how well looked after we were.We went on the Hong Island / Phang Nga Bay, Similan Island and Khao Sok full day elephant tours and all three were fantastic fun, well run and the food was amazing. We highly recommend this tour company and have nothing but good words to say about them.
Just spent a week in Khao Lak and I must say the experience was made so much better thanks to Khao Lak Land Discovery. Their tours were very well organised and the staff were so friendly and accomodating. I did three tours - phang nga bay discovery & sea canoe, full day jungle safari and a snorkelling day trip to the similan islands. Very well planned and managed and I highly recommend them to anyone visiting Khao Lak!

Great day trip in Khao Lak!
We did the Khao Lak Nature Discovery Full Day and were very happy with our experience. We got picked up in the morning and went to an Elephant camp where we rode an elephant through a jungle like setting. It was very pleasant and the mahouts were informative and kind. We then went to have a bath with the elephants...not everyone participated but we loved it! It was a unique and cool experience getting in the water with the elephants.Afterwards we went to a waterfall and explored that area. We then had a delicious lunch at a nearby restaurant. All of the other passengers left at this point since they were only doing the 1/2 day tour...but my boyfriend and I signed up for the 2-3 hour jungle trek. This was amazing! An incredible hike...somewhat technical but very well paced and enjoyable. We saw lots of cool bugs, waterfalls and beautiful nature. We wore Keen hiking sandals with Vibram soles, but I'd recommend closed-toe shoes because of all of the leeches on the trail. The tour company did provide protective foot and leg coverings so we were safe. :) It was easy to do the uphill but the down hill was tough (very steep) and I'd say it would have been impossible in the rain.Throughout the day, our tour guide was Charin and he was very informative and great to hike with!A very enjoyable day.
Unique lovely experience
