Dinner is served together on the raft-house deck as the light fades over the lake, and breakfast follows the next morning before you swim, canoe, or simply relax until check-out. The real highlight comes at 6am: before the first day-trippers reach the pier, thick mist settles over the emerald water and the jungle wakes to the call of gibbons (and, if you’re lucky, hornbills). Anyone staying at least one night in Khao Sok shouldn’t miss this early hour on the lake — it’s the whole reason to stay overnight.
