We went on a tour with Khao Lak Land Discovery last week. Our tour guide Gift was amazing! First off I want to thank Gift for a truly wonderful experience. Our tour started off by visiting the Tsunami Centre. The passion Gift showed & felt when explaining what had happened in the area and how it impacted her & her loved ones was so genuine it really made us take a look at our own lives and the privileges we have. Next we went to the Turtle Conservation Center. It was touching seeing all of the hard work the locals put into trying to revive the turtle population in the local area. Then we went bamboo rafting. Wow! Just wow! Our guide on this tour was a charmer. Stopping off down the river to pick us flowers, showing us the bamboo, bananas, snakes. It was one of the best back to nature experiences, feeling like we were the only ones floating on a bamboo raft down the river. After the rafting we drove to a waterfall where we had lunch. As you can imagine the food was absolutely delicious. And taking in the views of the waterfall as we ate was the icing on the cake. Then we visited a temple, we seen the monks and we were treated to some more amazing knowledge that Gift shared with us about local traditions and buddhism. It was insightful.The best was saved for last. The Elephant Bath..... and it was amazing. We were up and close with the youngest female elephant and her trainer. Bathing in a large pool and giving her a nice scrub down. It was something I will never forget. It was scary I must admit but the experience was amazing.Our driver Suk then drove us back to our hotel in Karon Beach which was a bit over 2 hours away. We did spend a lot of time travelling but I would do it again and again as it was well worth the travel and the money.I can't wait to do another tour next time I visit.Thank you so much Gift. Wir buchten gestern einen Transfer von Khao Lak nach Ko Samui. Wir ließen uns eine Fahrt mit Minivan nach Krabi dann Umstieg nach Koh Samui verkaufen, Da dies angeblich einfacher sei als den Linienbus zu nehmen, welcher direkt nach Suratthani fahren würde, und weniger Umstiege beinhaltet... angeblich. Umgestiegen sind wir insgesamt trotzdem 4 Mal und am Ende fanden wir uns auch in einem großen Bus wieder obwohl es hieß Minivan! Im Endeffekt hätten wir dann wohl auch den öffentlichen Linienbus nehmen können und hätten uns den Umweg über Krabi gespart. Zu allem Ärger hinzu merkten wir abends im Hotel dass unsere Rucksäcke durchwühlt worden waren, welche sich während der Fährfahrt im Gepäckraum des Busses befanden. Ich war nur froh darüber alle Wertsachen im Handgepäck untergebracht zu haben und dieses nicht aus den Händen gab als ich vom Fahrer aufgefordert wurde dieses ebenfalls im Gepäckraum zu verstauen.Als Thailand-Neulinge vertrauten wir uns diesem Touristenbüro an wurden aber etwas enttäuscht da man Unterwegs das Gefühl hatte abgezockt zu werden.

Super tolle Ausflüge. Perfekt und organisiert geplant. Pünktlichkeit bei Abholung. Super nette Guides, Volker mit seinem Fahrer Nipon, JJ und Oli Ungezwungen mit der Natur verbunden, Land und Leute näher gebracht. Had a great day snorkeling around Surin Islands. Staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Our guide Don was great! Thanks for the great experience.

I had a great experience 2 day Khao Sok stay in the Tree House. Took my 6 year old boy he loved it a great learning experience. Not to visit Kha Sok would be a crime. Great guides I am from uk and everyone else was from Germany both guides chatted to me in english and for me not being with a load of english was a big bonus. Both guides were great but i loved Eric he was funny and helpful and knowledgable. Also hired a car and driver and guide for another day. Don fantastic guide learnt so much. thanks both these trips were the best part of my visit.
