Wonderful day

We spent the day in the jungle doing 4×4 watching the animals we saw .. then we made a pose to go see a waterfall where we bathed it was beautiful all this vegetation... at lunch we ate very well in a place where the setting is just breathtaking... after canoeing..day away from the crowd..in places where nature is preserved...really to do.. With the guide Lea we got a lot of information in French. She is really at the top...thank you..

Elefantenbaden im Welfare Center

Die Tour ist eine Halb-Tages-Tour. Wir wurden um 8 Uhr am Hotel abgeholt und fuhren ins Welfare Center zum Elefganten streicheln/füttern und baden. Wir bekamen sehr viel Informationen über die wunderschönen Dickhäuter und hatten jeden Menge Spaß. Kurz vor Mittag waren wir wieder im Hotel. Hier wird sehr auf die Tiere geachtet - was uns gut gefallen hat.

Great tour, accommodation ok

Tour was good, guide and driver very knowlegable and friendly. Did see some animals, enjoyed the trips out on the boat Food at the lodge was good, dinner especially. Toilets and showers not great, did not want to use them. It is difficult to walk from the boat / restaurant to the toilet and huts, needs improvement as our trainers got wet all the time. Also the way into the water for swimming, ladder missing

Wonderful bonding with the elephants

I made a last minute decision to visit elephants up close, and it was one of the best decisions I made on my trip. Not only was our tour guide, Volker, fluent in English he was knowledgeable about the elephants and also Thai life in general. I always have lots of questions and he had lots of answers for me. The elephants were indeed gentle giants and we we’re warned ahead of time that they are never pressured to do anything they don’t want to do. Lucky for us, they did want to get bathed and petted. Definitely a good way to spend half a day.

Top uitstapjes

Er zijn goedkopere trips, maar deze zijn veel beter, ze komen op plaatsen op momenten dat het rustiger is en er nog niet een massa volk is. De gidsen spreken duidelijke taal en komen meestal uit het Westen Er zit meer in een dag. Het is allemaal een centje meer waard. Zonder twijfel gaan we nog met hen op pad. Ze bieden verschillende talen aan de Franstalige gidsen spreken van thuis uit Frans.
