Great way to spend one day if you are in Khao Lak or near by. When Brenda from Pirate Divers suggested this tour i was a bit skeptical, but I was very much mistaken. 3 Temple tour is whole day trip that includes visits to Wat Manee Sri Mahathat Temple, Wat Bang Rieng (Thap Put) or Kings Temple and Dragon cave Temple. Also, very good lunch is included in Tasai restaurant which is on the place where Sea is going up to river. Beautiful place. Every Temple has its own story to tell, and our guide Voelker give us great value for money spent. His deep knowledge on Buddhism and Thai culture and history helps a lot to understand and appreciate those Temples, and their significance to Thai people. Our driver Supap drive us very safely, and we could not enjoy more. I will post some pictures, but you really need to be there to fully understand, and above all to feel the atmosphere of those sacred sites.

First off - the negative experience we had was not with someone representing this company so for that reason we have given a 5*James Bond Trip Tim was our guide on a small group of 6 we were the only English but he happily translated into all languages, we had a impromptu stop at the local food market which we loved a real insight into Thai life! Tim had a great sense of humour and had us all in stiches all day! Unfortunately during the canoe trip we did not have the best guide, he repeatedly asked us if we liked 'Bob Marley' which in our innocence we said yes, at this point he produced some cannabis he obviously wanted to sell it or smoke with us - before we boarded we were advised by Tim that canoeist expect a small tip he advised 100baht is a fair amount, he badgered us the entire time telling us about how he lost his parents in the Tsunami and that he had a baby to feed (showing us pictures etc) to the point we were unable to enjoy the canoe ride - all of that he said may well have been true however when we gave him 100baht he looked at us in disgust and made us feel really awkward about giving him more money I got the feeling everything he said was a ploy to get us to give him a big tip - we both got off feeling really unsettled by the whole thing. The rest of the day was without hitch the lunch at the floating village was superb!Surin Islands A must do trip - Don was our guide, again great sense of humour, we were well fed and watered the whole day, the boat ride was long (over and hour) but it was totally worth it, have never experienced snorkelling like it, the Mokens stop was unreal - lunch at the national park very good buffet - really can not say anything negative about the day!!!!We were offered these trips with another operator much cheaper but we did find that It was worth spending slightly more - they were a really friendly well organised company - would recommend!!!

Mit einem gut gefüllten Minibus (Gäste aus 4 Hotels) fuhren wir zu einem Pier 1 Stunde von KhaoLak entfernt und stiegen in ein Longtail Boot um. Nach einer kurzen Fahrt erreichten wir dann die James Bond Insel. Die Nadel ist wirklich recht klein, aber wunderschön. Anschließend fuhren wir zur Kanufahrt, wo wir mit den Kanus durch Grotten gepaddelt wurden. Diese sind sehr sehenswert Anschließend fuhren wir zu dem nahezu autarken moslemischen Seezigeuner Dorf, wo es neben dem Mittagessen (für Vegetarier eher ungeeignet), auch die Möglichkeit gab für kleines Geld echte Perlen guter Qualität zu erwerben. Danach fuhren wir zur Affeninsel, wobei kein Affe weit und breit zu sehen war. Abschließend fuhren wir noch zu einem Tempel, der geschlossen war. Hier hätte der Veranstalter sich vorab erkundigen sollen, ob dieser geöffnet ist. Trotzdem insgesamt eine schöne Tagestour

Der Park ist wunderschön, unser Guide war allerdings nicht gerade der Kracher. Sein Englisch war sehr verbesserungsbedürtig und seine Witze waren so witzig wie 3 Tage Regenwetter...

We did the Hong Island tour; fantastic trip from start to finish. Loved all the stops and the staff were lovely; although we were the only English speakers so felt we may have missed some information. I had some difficulties with credit card payment (overcharged by €530) which were satisfactorily resolved when I got home, but was stressful.
