Wir waren während im Juli 2018 als Familie in Khao Lak im Urlaub. Das Wetter war - bis auf einen Tag - relativ stabil. Wir haben mit Khao Lak Discoveries mehrere Tagesausflüge durchgeführt und waren begeistert! Aufgrund der geringen Nachfrage im Sommer hatten wir eine Einzelbetreuung durch Karin. Sie ist einfach eine Expertin und kann jede Frage beantworten. Außerdem kennt Sie Ecken, die man i. d. R. als normaler Tourist nicht unbedingt zu sehen bekommt. Alles war super organisiert und klappte völlig reibungslos. Die Ausführungen waren hoch interessant und lehrreich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und werden unsere Ausflüge wieder über Khao Lak Discoveries buchen. Besser individuell als pauschal. Liebe Grüße an Karin und Eike.

Nous avons fait deux excursions avec eux et que du bonheur. La première était " Khao Lak Elephant Bath ", une journée magnifique tout était parfait, que de beaux souvenirs et merci aussi au guide qui s'est bien occupé de nous " Dido ". La deuxième était " Phi Phi Islands Snorkelling Day Tour", là aussi tout était parfait. Que dire, des paysages de carte postale. Et merci aussi au guide qui était super " Daniel ". Pour les deux la réception en minibus à l'hôtel est carré. L'encadrement et les consignes de sécurité sur les excursions était irréprochable. Je ne peux que vous les les conseillers. Et merci beaucoup au représentant qui nous accueilli à notre arrivée à Khao Lak " Hughes ".

Wir hatten die Offroad Safari mit KLLD gebucht. Man konnte dies schon als Privat Tour verbuchen, da neben meiner Familie nur noch ein weiterer Gast sowie unser Guide Volker zugegen war. Es war eine sehr gelungener Tag in einer wunderbaren Natur. Vielen Dank auch nochmal an Volker, welcher sehr informativ war und so den Tag zu einem unvergessenen Erlebnis machte.

Die Reise war sehr informations reich und die Natürlichen Wasserfall rütschbahnen haben spass gemacht, wir haben uns auch immer sicher gefuhlt

We booked 3 excursions in total with Khao Lak land discovery, the first was the Khao Lak day trip, where you bathed elephants, visited the turtle sanctuary, participated in bamboo rafting and saw the tsunami memorial. Our guide was dido, he was good organising everything, we loved seeing and feeding the elephants, our elephant was a bit feisty, so we didn’t linger bathing him as he seemed to be fed up, my children loved stroking him and feeding him. The photos they sell you are very reasonable in price. The turtle sanctuary was interesting and lets you see all ages of turtles close up. The bamboo rafting was a great experience we loved it, the guys that paddle you down the river do a fantastic job and really deserve a tip, we also bought the photos, as again they are really cheap and support the locals doing the rafting. The second excursion we did, was the temple tour, our guide was Gift and she was just lovely, a practising Buddhist herself, she was so knowledgeable about all the temples and gave us a great insight into Buddhism. We visiting 3 amazing temples, the first inside a cave, my boys loved this as you had to climb lots of stairs to access it, then you could explore inside and there were some fantastic viewpoints over the surrounding jungle. The 2nd was very grand and we actually met a monk, which was amazing. The 3rd was equally as interesting with a massive monk statue, which was an amazing sight. All of this was made better by gift, who spoke good English and explained so much to us about all aspects of the culture and religion, she is the perfect guide for this excursion. She is a real asset to the company. The 3rd trip we did was to James Bond Island, again another fantastic highly recommended trip. Including a long tail boat to James Bond island, sea kayaking around caves and visiting the floating gypsy village, which ins a great experience. We had Gift again as our guide. She is so friendly and has a great rapport with all the locals that she deals with. All excursions were in minibuses with good air con and helpful drivers. The lunches they provide are all to authentic Thai restaurants in great locations and the food is lovely. Thanks for 3 wonderful trips, great company.
