I had a great time! Tip, our guide was very informative and always checking in (along with the driver) to see if we needed water or a soft drink. We started off by going to visit the elephants, followed by visiting the turtle marine centre. Afterwards, we headed to the temple where we got to learn a little bit about the Buddist religion and culture. We had a fantastic family style lunch (which there was plenty of and they continued to bring more out as the plates started to empty) and then went on the bamboo rafts. For me the bamboo rafts were the highlight, and it was so peaceful and tranquil. I was definitely shown a lot of animals hanging around or sleeping in the trees. After that we visited a waterfall, where tip gave everyone a decent chunk of time to hang, enjoy the water and chill after our packed morning and afternoon. Last but not least, we then went to visit the Tsunami Memorial - I learned so much about the event, and how it impacted the locals.

Très déçue par cette excursion que je déconseille. La guide francophone (châtain avec une frange)totalement inutile n'a fourni aucune explication. Visites au pas de course au sens littéral. Un photographe a réalisé des photos durant toute la journée, qu’ils nous ont forcé à acheter à la fin, environ 45 euros les 4 photos que nous ne pouvions même pas visualiser et qui nous étaient simplement envoyées par mail et non imprimées. Lorsque nous avons refusé, l’équipage a fait un scandale, ils ont crié, nous ont donc forcé à verser un pourboire avec un montant minimal en compensation, ont humilié ceux qui donnaient moins que le minimum requis, et ont fini par dire que les français n’étaient déjà pas les bienvenus en Thaïlande et que cela n’allait pas arranger les choses. Ils ont ensuite rangé toutes les boissons, comme pour nous « punir », alors que nous avions tout de même payé pour des boissons à volonté. Voilà comment s’est terminée cette journée, nous laissant un goût très amer
