Khao So expedition with Rolo

This is the most amazing experience I ever had. In the middle of National Park, in unspoiled wild nature with amazing guide - Rolo. We watched the wildlife for hours, patiently, and all of the sudden - wild Elephant appeared. We watched it twice - in the evening and early in the morning. Rolo knows the habits of animals, talks about their life in the Park. The trip is very well organized, the meeting with the wild elephants in the natural environment is truly an unforgettable once in a life time experience. I recommend this tour to all sensitive people who want to discover the nature give it a respect and who are patient and keen to see the animals and untouched sacred jungle form the distance. The best is to watch the animals from the boat, to listed to this ancient forest and not even see the exact genre but just listen. The night watch is also amazing under the stars. You can catch a sens of raw nature. You sleep in a bamboo tiny house, on the water, unconnected with the internet, with only wild around.

Der Ausflug war insgesamt sehr umfangreich...

Der Ausflug war insgesamt sehr umfangreich und sehr gut organisiert. Wir waren in einer Gruppe von insgesamt 8 Teilnehmern unterwegs.Der Ausflug hat mit einem kleinen einheimischen Markt begonnen. Danach ging es zur ca. zweistündigen Kanufahrt weiter. Hierbei konnte die Natur und die Tiere ausgiebig beobachtet werden. Die „Steuermänner“ der einzelnen Kanus machten hierbei auf versteckte Tiere (Schlangen,etc.) aufmerksam und boten ausreichend Zeit die Tiere auch aus der Nähe und in Ruhe beobachten zu können. Nach der Kanufahrt ging es zu einem kurzen Abstecher in den nahegelegenen Affen-Tempel, wo ausreichend Zeit bestand die Tiere aus der Nähe zu beobachten und auf füttern zu können. Das Mittagessen fand in einem kleinen Jungle-Hotel statt, bevor es dann weiter zu den Elefanten ging. Bei den Elefanten gab es ca. 1,5 Stunden Aufenthalt, wo die Tiere gefüttert, gepflegt und in einem Fluss gebadet werden konnten. Der deutschsprachige Guide Dominik war einfach genial und zu empfehlen!

Leider mussten wir über 1 Stunde...

Leider mussten wir über 1 Stunde auf die Flosse warten. Dadurch kam das ganze Programm durcheinander und wir hatten nur 30 Minuten für das Mittagessen. Schade für das wunderbare Essen.
