The name, Koh Hong, comes from an eroded group of caves in the middle of the island which harbours a lake with a small passage to the sea. The only way in and out from the Hong Island is during a time window of about 30 minutes during a day; when the tight is right, canoes are able to enter the Hong (Thai for “room”) through a cave!
On this tour we visit the Island, of course, as well as James Bond Island, mangrove forests and the fishing village on stilts. All the highlights of Phang Nga Bay are united in this tour.
