Check dates & book →The Phuket Sunday Walking Street on Thalang Road in the Old Town operates only on Sunday evenings, from approximately 4 pm to 10 pm. This is the only day the market opens — local vendors set up stalls, cafés extend onto the pavement, and the street closes to traffic. The tour is specifically timed so guests from Khao Lak arrive during the liveliest hours, typically between 6 and 9 pm.
Thalang Road market sells handmade crafts, Thai street food (mango sticky rice, pad thai, satay, coconut ice cream), clothing, jewellery, ceramics, and local art. Prices are well below airport gift shops or resort boutiques. The atmosphere — fairy lights, traditional music, and the colourful Sino-Portuguese shophouse facades of Phuket Old Town — makes it as enjoyable to stroll as to shop.
The Walking Street is the main event. Many of our groups also stop at Central Festival Phuket (or Central Floresta) for guests who want air-conditioned modern retail, international brands, and department-store shopping. The itinerary is flexible — if your group prefers to spend the full time at the market, the driver adjusts. All purchases are at your own expense; the tour price covers transport only.
The minivan departs Khao Lak hotels at approximately 3–3:30 pm and arrives in Phuket Old Town by 4:30–5 pm. The return transfer departs Patong/Old Town at approximately 9:30–10 pm, reaching Khao Lak by around 11 pm. Exact pickup times are confirmed when you book based on your hotel location.
The price (฿1,300 per adult) covers the round-trip hotel transfer from Khao Lak in an air-conditioned minibus. Meals, shopping, and any personal expenses in Phuket are not included.
