Where to find the post office to post from Khao Lak, Bang Niang
Go to the post office in Khao Lak and drop a package without being surprised about the prices. If you have shopped a little more than expected you might think of sending some of you belongings over, instead of paying for overweight at the airport. The following lists will show you the different price categories for the different countries.
If you only want to send a postcard to those who stayed home, the price will be 15 THB and with the free AIRMAIL sticker it will take about 2 weeks. To send a package you will have to make your way to the local post office which is located at Bang Niang just opposite the TOT office on the right side, coming from Khao Lak going north. The opening hours are 10 am to 4:30 pm from Monday to Friday. On Sunday the post office is closed.Price list for Letters
For the right wrapping take the cartons sold by the post office to make sure you are matching the sizes. We have now listed the postage fees for several countries.
