Klong Sok (Ban Klong Sok)

Klong Sok — also called Ban Klong Sok — is the main village and accommodation hub on the northern edge of Khao Sok National Park, sitting where the Highway 401 bridge crosses the Sok River. Most of the jungle lodges, tree-house resorts, and tour operator offices that serve Khao Sok are located here or along the river road. Klong Sok is the starting point for guided jungle treks, bamboo-raft trips on the Sok River, and night safaris into the park.

Getting to Klong Sok

Klong Sok is approximately 60 km from Khao Lak via Highway 401 — around 70–80 minutes by private car. Khao Lak Land Discovery can arrange private transfers to Klong Sok as part of a Khao Lak resort stay or as a direct transfer from Phuket Airport.
