A full day deep into Phang Nga province — jungle track, hidden waterfall, and the stories behind Khao Lak's most striking landmarks. We collect you from your Khao Lak hotel and hand you back at the end of a full day out.
The morning runs on a Land Rover off-road jeep, climbing a rough track into the rainforest before a short fifteen-minute trek to a waterfall most visitors never reach. From there the day turns toward the coast: Police Boat 813, carried two kilometres inland by the 2004 tsunami and left where it came to rest; the Royal Thai Navy's turtle conservation centre; and a working Buddhist temple where your guide explains what you're looking at rather than just pointing at it.
Lunch is a proper sit-down meal at a local restaurant, not a lunchbox. Afterwards you drift downriver on a traditional bamboo raft, then finish with beach time on one of Khao Lak's quieter stretches of sand before the drive back to your hotel.
