The bamboo rafting down the river at Phang Nga was an excellent experience for entire family. The river water was cool and refreshing and the ride is very safe for kids too. Enjoyed the scenic ride down the river and wish it was a longer ride. Be prepared to get wet but is worth it.

Wir haben drei Ausflüge bei Khao Lak Land Discovery gebucht. Alle drei Ausflüge waren ein voller erfolg und sind unbedingt weiter zu empfehlen- Wir haben die Kao Sok Tagestour gemacht, Puket mit Guide und Pipi Island.Unser Dank geht vor allem an July (deutsch). Sie ist echt ein super Guide (Kao Sok und Puket Tour) Kinderfreundlich, weis viel über Thailand und spricht Thai. Dirk der alte Schwede ist auch super.Vielen Dank Khao Lak Land Discovery.

Beide Touren waren gut organisiert, der deutschsprachige Guide war unterhaltsam und informativ. Die Preise für die Touren sind absolut in Ordnung!

I booked the airport transfer to JW resort together with the Khao Lak Safari day trip, with some discount online in advance. The driver was on time and friendly. For the day trip, we have six people and occupied for the whole car without other tourists. The guide was nice. We had elephant trekking to a small waterfall, but it return on the same way. Then we feed elephant with bananas. We went to a larger waterfall, so bad that we didn't bring the swimming suit to enjoy a swim. We had our lunch in a restaurant next to another small fall, not bad. The guide advised to have the bamboo rafting first as he afraid it's gonna to rain. The bamboo rafting is exciting. Finally have the visit of turtle reservation center. The trip supposed to have a beach visit, too, but the guide knew our resort already with a private beach and we all agreed not to go there. We started at 9am and returned resort at around 3:40pm.Later we saw some of the day trips with snake shows / monkey shows ...... um.....it seems that forest day trip would be the only option in Khao Lak when diving in Similan Island is not available during this period.
