Wir haben vor unserem Urlaub von Deutschland aus unsere Touren über KLLD ausgesucht und gebucht. Der Email Kontakt und die Beantwortung von Rückfragen funktioniert einwandfrei und schnell! Auch ist der Kontakt zum Büro, wie auch zu den Tourguides immer sehr gut gewesen. Unser Tourprogramm stand als vor / ab Reisebeginn wie folgt fest. Nachfolgend eine kurze Zusammenfassung, da es sonst unenglich viel werden würde :-) Bei Fragen könnt ihr mich aber gerne anschreiben! 1) Phang Nga Sea Canoe (Ganztagesausflug): James Bond Felsen und die dazugehörige Insel war ganz schön, aber gut besucht. Ist aber eben bekannt, daher interessieren sich auch viele dafür. Kanufahrt durch den Mangrovenwald war sehr schön! Die Fahrer kennen einsame Wasserstraßen, sodass man die Natur richtig genießen kann. Mittagessen im Stelzendorf: Sehr lecker!!! Auch interessant einen Spaziergang durchs Dorf zu machen. Wenn ich nochmal wählen würde, würde ich die ausführlichere Tour buchen! Die ist noch schöner! 2) Khao Sok mit Baumhausübernachtung (2 Tage): 1. Tag: Elefantenreiten. Würden wir nicht nochmal machen. Lieber die Stunde an der Elefantenstation bleiben und mit den Tieren Kontakt aufnehmen und sie füttern. Uns haben sie etwas leid getan! Kanufahrt durch den Khao Sok Nationalpark war wunderbar! Landschaftlich unendlich schön! Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Ein bisschen Zeit hatten wir zwischen den Aktivitäten durch den Bezug unseres Baumhauses (sehr schön!!!) und Mittagessen. Nach den Ausflügen Abendessen und beisammensein. Am nächsten Tag nach dem Frühstück Dschungelwanderung. Die hat uns am besten gefallen. Dann wieder Mittagessen, frisch machen etc. und Nachmittags zurück. Insg. empfehlenswert.. Würden wir wieder so machen, nur ohne Elefantenreiten. 3) Similan - Schnorcheln (1 Tag): Hier gibts nur ein Wort: SUUUUUUUPER!!! Würden wir immer wieder machen! Nur gut eincremen zwischen den Schnorchelstops. Unser Tourguide Ron war der beste den es hierfür gibt. Am besten bei Buchung nach ihm fragen. Hatten 4 Schnorchelstops und er kennt sich super aus! 4) 3 Tempel-Tour (1 Tag): Drei unterschiedliche Tempel ( Bergtempel, Höhlentempel und ein sehr pompöser Tempel). Sehr interessant auch wg. der Infos zum Buddhismus! Das Essen war hier am besten von den Ausflügen her. Sehr schön gelegen an einem Fluss. 5) Phuket bei Nacht (Nachmittag - Mitternacht): Da wir in Khao Lak waren und damit Ruhe und Erholung, wollten wir einmal sehen, wie es in Phuket läuft. Fazit: Einmal sehen reicht! Wir konnten ein paar Dinge dort günstig einkaufen und sind einmal ins "Millieu" abgetaucht und einige Eindrücke gesammelt. Genügt aber so :-) Dachten wir uns aber vorher. Wir wollten uns hier eine eigene Meinung bilden!FAZIT: Alle Ausflüge sind sehr gut organisiert. Essen und Getränke sind inbegriffen und Transfers vom/zum Hotel. die Gruppen sind angenehm groß. Wir waren insgesamt immer zwischen 6 - 15 Personen. Würden hier immer wieder Ausflüge buchen. Die besten Tourguides fanden wir, waren Ron und Timm.

Deciding on which company to use when you flit from one to the other is something I find a little daunting. Get it right and you're a bit smug. Get it wrong and the day is ruined.This was the 2nd company we visited having left our details with another company, KLLD was able to offer us the Hong Island tour immediately whereas the 1st company simply took our details (as it turned out we never heard from them again).We discussed the different tours available and settled on Hong Island. (definitely better than the James Bond island which to be honest on its own is a compete waste of money).They're not that cheap at £154 for a couple but you get a whole day package. They pick you up at the hotel. In our case 5am so that we could get to Hong island at low tide to canoe through bat cave and into a completely hidden little lake.The taxi takes you to a Longtail boat which travels for about an hour before being transferred to canoes. You can simply sit back and relax as there are two people per canoe plus the rower which is one of the staff members. The sunrise was amazing.Although they don't provide breakfast, they provide an ample supply of water and soft drinks as well as sticky rice and either banana or coconut served in a banana leaf. Very tasty.Having done Hong Island we made our way to James Bond island which is a small rock sticking out from the sea. There is an island adjacent to it which consists only of lots of shops all selling identical tourist tat. The tourist are literally shipped in at an amazing rate. We arrived early and within half an hour 6 speedboats had arrived and another 4 longtail boats. You're lucky if you can get a photo without some tourist appearing in your pic.From here we traveled past some mangrove swamps and did a tour of some other islands in the canoes. All very relaxing.As we headed slowly back we stopped at a Moslem fishing village which is on stilts. The lunch (included in the price) was very tasty and there was more than could be finished. It consists of about 5-6 different dishes including a vegetarian dish and some non seafood dishes.Personally I didn't enjoy the village and was praying that the restaurant had their own kitchen because that which I saw as we walked through the village wasn't appetising at all.It's a fisherman's village on which about 500 people live. At low tide the whole place smells of sewage. Somehow they have managed to shield the restaurant from this.The guide spoke several languages and his English was fluent with a slight accent. He provided useful titbits of information without turning the trip into a field trip. He was keen to offer to take photographs of couples.We were 4 in our group which worked out well.Although this trip isn't suitable for the physically disabled there is no reason why those with limited mobility can't get out there. The couple with us were both pensioners and the lady had limited movement in her arm and couldn't take big steps but they accommodated her without any fuss at all.They offer various trips but most of them require a minimum of 4 participants.I wpuld certainly recommend them.

4 Paare im Minibus hatten alle ein anderes Programm. Am zweiten Tag mussten wir 4 Stunden warten ohne Aktivität bis alle wieder zusammen waren. Immer wurde so getan als ob es ausversehen war das wir warten mussten. Bis wir gemerkt haben das alles von vornherein so geplant war. Beispiel Dschungelwanderung. Angekündigt war 9.00 Abmarsch. Da aber erst noch ein Paar von Kao Lak "eingeflogen" wurde konnte es erst 10.00 beginnen. War vom Veranstalter auch so geplantnur uns nicht so gesagt. Wir können nur dringend abraten. Die andere Tour mit Stausee soll viel besser sein und auch romantischer.

Alles gut organisiert, deutsch sprechende Reiseleiterin. Wir hatten eine Privat- Gruppe von 7 Personen, war sehr unterhaltsam und lustig. Gebucht bei Siam Travel.

I used Khao Lak land discovey for Phuket airport transfers and a day trip to Similan. They were atleast 25-30% more expensive and had some fabulous ways of convincing you ..... quality of vehicles, special food cooked for you, we get you there before others, we have more snorkeling stops than others, unlimited drinks and snacks etc etc... Ultimately it was all Crap !!! I paid thru my nose and got nothing out of it. Just one snorkeling Stop and the reason they gave us was this is the "2nd time in my 75 trips this has happened". Sounded like a overplayed recorded track. I cancelled all my further plans with them and hired another local travel company at 2/3rd the cost and had a fabulous time.
