nous avions choisi la visite de la baie décor magnifique un petit circuit dans les mangroves dépaysa le groupe était restreint nous étions 6 personnes nous avion s demandé une visite en français et malheureusement nous l 'avons eu en anglais seule déception de la journée ( on aurait préféré au moins être prévenu) car andy notre guide était néanmoins très sympathique il est venu nous chercher à l'hotel à l'heure et la visite s'est faite sans précipitation voire même dans la tranquillité car il a évité tout le flot de touriste nous avions l'impression d être privilégié

Superbe experience avec un guide super sympa( Hugues de Belgique) plein de vitalite et jamais a cours d'anecdotes, en Francais comme en Anglais Excellente connaissance du Budhisme et du coin ..... carnet de bonnes adresses , petits restos sympa etc.... Nous recommendons Land Discovery pour son serieux et ..... pour Hugues, qui en passant parle egalement Thai.... un + dans ce coin de la Thailande. My wife and I and two teenage sons did the Three Temple Tour and half day Elephant Bath tour. The fellow who led the temple tour was an exceptional guide (Dirk I think). Swedish by birth but fluent in German and English. My son is a student of world religions and found him very informative (he's a very critical audience to play to). The 3 temples are very different with hardly anybody at the first 2 and these are in very picturesque locations. The final temple had crowds but the monkeys made up for this. The lunch stop is at a really pretty site and the food excellent. My wife got car sick. Dirk pulled over and arranged some motion sickness medicine that did the trick. The Germans we shared the bus with were very good natured about this little delay. Its was only a small group tour and so it mattered that the people we shared the day with were decent folk. We were blessed by a Monk at the final temple and even if you don't place most credence in the teachings of the Buddha, I think it's a respectful exercise to go through. Anyway it might have worked for us because the rest of the trip was fantastic. As for the elephants, well whats not to like about taking a dunk with an elephant. Be prepared to get wet and have a lot of fun. As one is inclined to take photos of other elephants and hence the people on them it pays to get the email address of your fellow travellers. Another good meal concluded this trip. Can't praise this company enough and I'm agitating for a return so I can perhaps do one of their longer 2 or 3 day trips. Thanks Khao Lak Land Discovery!

Agence très sérieuse : horaire respecte, chauffeur prudent, minivan Toyota comme neuf et luxueux, airco, vitres teintées, cuir/bois/frigo ... et SURTOUT un TOP GUIDE francophone, HUGHES, liegeois d'origine ... Serviable, attentif, devoue, passionne, sympathique, .... super connaissance de Khao Lak, des excursions et de la Thailande en general ... a connaitre et à rencontrer au plus tôt dès votre arrivée a Khao Lak ... trucs et astuces non-stop pour passer un excellent séjour dans cette belle petite station balnéaire et surtout découvrir cette magnifique région loin des gogos bars de Phuket …

Pour paraphraser les autres... un guide francophone au top, (certes qui a essayé de nous faire avaler des oeufs de 100 ans (je plaisante c'est culturel et d'après mon mari c'est pas trop dégueu)), mais franchement passionné et passionnant donc je redis: au top. j'ai préféré Khao sok: éléphants, canoé, temple, point de vue Et...le marché typique le matin...je crois que je n'avais pas le coeur assez bien accroché ou bien il était trop tot pour moi En tout cas la prochaine fois je me préparerai mieux.. les Similan sont fabuleuses, bien que très très visitées (trop?) Allez-y les yeux fermés, même les ados, qui ont pourtant la critique facile ont été enchantés... see you soon (I hope...)
