Koh Surin Nationalmeerespark

Koh Surin ist eines der Top-Tauch- und Schnorchelziele der Andamanen – gesundes hartes Korallenmeer, Walhaie (saisonal) und Dörfer der Moken-Seenomaden. Der Park ist von ungefähr 15. Oktober bis 15. Mai jeden Jahres geöffnet; Schnellboote ab Kuraburi benötigen jeweils rund 2 Stunden. Tagesausflüge und Übernachtungs-Camping im Parkmittelpunkt (Ao Chong Khat) sind direkt über den Nationalpark buchbar.

Saison und Zeitplanung

Die Kuraburi–Surin-Route ist nur während der Trockenzeit in Betrieb (Mitte Oktober bis Mitte Mai). Außerhalb der Saison ist der Pier geschlossen und keine Boote fahren. Dies steht im Gegensatz zum Transfer Khao Lak–Ranong, der ganzjährig in Betrieb ist.
