We will pick you up bright and early and begin the journey to the park, stopping in historic town of Takua Pa to visit a traditional Thai morning market where you have time to peruse through the vendor’s stalls and experience how Thai people have shopped for fresh meats and produce for centuries. After leaving Takua Pa, we stop along the way at a panoramic viewpoint to capture the breathtaking view over an expansive valley, blanketed with lush vegetation juxtaposed by towering karst mountains.
On the first day of the tour, we’ve planned a few exciting yet low-effort activities for you. An experienced Khao Sok canoe guide will paddle you down the Sok River to search for elusive fauna and exotic flora along the riverbank. Another destination is Wat Tam Panturat Temple to get up close and personal with the playful Macaque monkeys that reside there. Last, but not least, you will have the opportunity to meet the elephantine ambassadors of Khao Sok National Park, then join them in the water for an heart-warming elephant bath, a fan favorite for all ages!
After the activities planned for the first day have concluded, we take you to the accommodation where you will be staying the night. « All meals and accommodation are included » is not much of a highlight for a multi-day tour, but it is when you consider that you will be dining and staying at Khao Lak Land Discovery’s Rock and Treehouse Resort! After dinner, you will have time to take a refreshing swim in the lagoon-style swimming pool, enjoy a cocktail or two from the fully-stocked bar and mingle with the other guests, or turn in early for a well deserved rest in your comfy air-conditioned room.

After breakfast at the resort, you will spend a most of the second day sightseeing aboard a traditional Thai Longtail boat, cruising the tranquil waters of gorgeous Cheow Lan Lake. During the Longtail boat tour of the lake, we disembark from the boat at a few locations, one of which is for a short low-paced jungle trek along a path through the lush rainforest in search of wildlife and exotic plants. Another location we visit on the lake tour is karst cave to do a little spelunking and explore the depths of the interior. Of course, we also stop to relax and enjoy a savory Thai lunch with astonishingly beautiful vistas as a backdrop!
