Very professional and welcoming company, with German and English speaking guides. They were were thorough and helpful when we arrived at the hotel, and we ended up booking two activities with them, a cooking course, which was very fun, they made it very personal, by making a limit of 6 people, so we all had a change to prepare different Thai dishes. The second activity, a trip to Similan island was also very good, the guides took really good care of every single person, and even though there was a few bumps on the trip, I never felt that it was not under control. A very pleasant experience with Khao Lak Land discovery.

Wir haben in unserem Urlaub 2 Ausflüge gemacht. Wir waren auf Phi Phi Island und am James Bond Felsen. Beide Ausflüge waren wunderbar und sind absolut zu empfehlen. Die Ausflüge sind zwar minimal teurer als bei den Händlern auf der Strasse, aber man bekommt dafür eine Tour, welche mit deutscher Sorgfalt geplant und durchgeführt wird. Wir würden in Khao Lak nie irgendwo anders etwas buchen. Leute aus unserem Hotel haben die gleichen Ausflüge gemacht, aber über Strassenhändler und bei denen war es lange nicht so gut wie hier. Es wird sich um einen gekümmert, ständig bekommt man etwas zu trinken gereicht, eine Kleinigkeit zu essen usw. Die Guides kennen die Orte und wissen wann wie viel an welchem Ort los ist, sodass sie die Tour zwischendurch immer schnell abändern, damit man nicht in den riesen Andrang mit anderen Touristen reingerät. Einen grossen Dank auch noch an unsere 2 Guides Carsten und Fabio, ihr habt das echt super gemacht.

I booked the Surin island trip with Khao Lak Land Discovery. The boat was from Adventureworld. The trip was horrible and in my opinion not safe. There was a lot of puking and also was the snorkeling bad because no good spots were available due to the weather. But biggest complaint is that they went out with those weather conditions. I hurt my hip and shoulder while clinging on in the boat for 1,5 hours to and 1,5 hours back. It had a big impact on the rest of my vacation and I had to spent time in my hotelbed with ice cubes to get the swelling down. I went to Ecoadventures to find an easy and short day trip. Even if I could have physically done a snorkeling or boat trip, I found out that they were not available due to a weather warning from the Thai government. Ecoadventure had cancelled all their boat trips for four days, including the day I went on the boat trip with Discovery. I went to Discovery head office with my complaint. They did not take it seriously and laughed me out of their office after offering me a refund of 12 euro (taxi to their office cost me 9) for a trip that cost around 100 euro. Discovery did not dissociate themsemselves from Adventureworld to go out with that weather. Safety should be first and foremost. Be careful booking a snorkeling trip with either of them. In my opinion: don't do it!

Wir haben einen Tagesausflug nach Khao Sok gebucht indem wir zuerst einen Zwischenstopp auf dem Markt von Khao Lak, anschliessend eine Kanu-Fahrt und abschliessend eine Wanderung gemacht haben. Das Highlight war die Kanu-Fahrt. Wir sahen Makaken, Frösche und Schlagen. Die Flussfahrt war trotz des regnerischen Wetters, sehr entspannend mit beeindruckenden Aussichten. Das (einbegriffene) Mittagessen im Tree House Resort war sehr lecker. Die anschliessende Wanderung im Regenwald war erfrischend (auch wegen des nassen Wetters..). Unser Führer Don war extrem lustig. Wir hatten einen tollen (privaten) Ausflug. Wir haben den Ausflug vom Hotel aus (Paradise Beach, Khao Lak) einen Tag vorher buchen lassen.

Top Beratung und Unterstützung bei individueller Tourenplanung. Für die 3 Tempeltour und die Phuket Explorer Tour hatten wir Fahrer und Fahrzeug gebucht. In beiden Fällen waren die Fahrer hervorragend, gaben uns auch viele Tipps und Informationen. Auch die Zusammenstellung der Gruppe bei der Tour zum James Bond Felsen inkl. Longtail-Boot und Kanu war klasse. Tour Guide Volker (Wodka) und Praktikant Daniel haben einen sehr guten Job gemacht. Wir wurden sehr gut betreut. Das Preis / Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut!
