Collected on time. There were a German couple & 4 English guests on the trip & the company provided both a German & English guide although the German speaking guide (sorry can't remember his name) was Dutch & also spoke fluent English & Thai so any language issues were well covered! He was also quite a card!! Out guide was called "O", she spoke excellent English & her encyclopedic knowledge of the temples we visited meant that we got an amazing insight into the Buddhist religion as well as the history & meanings of the structure & decoration of the temples. Cold drinks were available on tap & lunch was traditional Thai in a lovely location. Plenty for everyone with a good selection of flavours & spice levels to cater for everyone's taste. This is a must do if you visit Thailand. With the knowledge we gained from this day out it gave us a real understanding of the culture & values that are the foundation of the wonderful Thai people.

Nous avons fait 2 excursions avec KhaoLaklandDiscovery et le moins que l'on puisse dire c'est que nous n'avons pas regretté notre choix!!! 2 sorties où nous en avons pris plein les yeux (sortie Phang Nga et Khao sok lake ). Inutile de décrire ses 2 sorties...ça ne se décrit pas. Ça se vit !!! Et là pétillante Léa nous as accompagné lors de ses 2 sorties hors du temps! Merci Léa pour tout !! Côté organisation, rien à redire, nous étions en villa et nous avons eu , la veille, le petit mail de confirmation pour l'heure, etc... Trajet nickel jusqu'au point de rendez-vous, bouteilles d'eau fraîches à l'intérieur...bref de quoi se préparer à une bonne journée !Et ensuite, un programme qui nous fait sentir quasi seuls...et ça, dans de tels lieux, c'est si important !! L'île James Bond sans quasi personne...la découverte de la mangrove sans le moindre bruit...Woah. !!! Khao Sok....aucun mot pour décrire cette atmosphère !Mais comme je le disais, ça se vit tout ça...!Et grâce à cette compagnie, nous avons vraiment été des privilégiés au milieu de paysages de films d'aventure!! ;-))Merci mille fois!

We took this tour after seeing recommendation in Lonely Planet. The tour was excellent and worth the 2 hour drive to get to the lake. Our guide Jenny was fluent in English. Helpful and cheerful. Very caring of a lady who was not as fit as the rest of the group. We had a 2 hour jungle trek with a local guide. A cave visit and then lunch at the floating restaurant where you could also swim. The lake is absolutely vast and really stunning as is the surrounding scenery. Company should suggest you bring some extra water. They give you water before and after the trek, obviously they cannot carry extra for a group of 11 into the forest. We had a litre with us in an insulated carry bottle and were glad of it. Super day out.

2 weeks ago my boyfriend and I did the Surin Tour and we are still thrilled! At the pier we had a small breakfast before we went on the speedboat. The organization was great from start to finish and you always felt very safe. With the three snorkel stops in different places it was never too crowded with other tourists and you could look at great corals and fish. For us the highlight was the beautiful beach on the island and the crystal clear, turquoise water - just a dream! Here you can really speak of paradise! Due to the early arrival time at the island we were, as promised, one of the first boats and thus had the beach almost to ourselves. Only when we drove back again the other guests came and it became full. So here too, a big praise to Khao Lak Land Discovery. We will definitely come back to you!

Our family including a 15yr and 10yr old did the Khao Sok day tour with Khao Lak Land Discovery. We booked last minute and they were very helpful in the office. Picked up on time with only 12 guests, our tour guide, Gift was great. Her English was excellent and she was very informative throughout. First stop was the local market, nice to have a quick look but not something that is essential to see. The canoeing down the Khao Sok river was beautiful despite the low water level. The guides spotted snakes in trees for us and couldn't help but see the family of monkeys hanging by the river bank. The lunch stop was a lovely tree house hotel, then onto the monkey temple. Some were a bit angry but Gift was very good keeping us away from these ones. I was a bit hesitant with the elephant bathing due to their welfare. It was short time scrubbing the mud from them and feeding them, enough time though for the elephant. They seem to be well cared for and they have been born in captivity so could not be left in the wild as they wouldn't know how to fend for themselves. Overall, the tour was great as small group and would recommend them for this type of tour.
