This was our second day trip with Khao Lak Land Discovery after the 3 temple tour. Again, we were picked up from our hotel on time and everything else had worked out perfectly again. We drove our minibus to the jetty for the longtail boat ride. A beautiful drive that took us first through mangrove forests, then to Phang Nga Bay, incl. "James Bond Rocks." Later we changed to paddle boats and went on a great trip through mangroves and caves. Afterwards we took the longtail boat trip to the sea gypsy village at noon (drinks incl.) to eat. In the afternoon we took the minibus back to a monkey rock temple, which was also very interesting and beautiful. All in all, the compiled tour was absolutely top! There is no doubt about that at all! Also we were always provided with drinks everywhere. Which is why I didn't give a 5 star rating, is a bit due to the tour guide. Tim was very nice and his laughter is also really infectious, but we were all in the minibus together for over an hour and only when we reached our destination (the dock for the longtail boat) did he introduce himself to us and talk to us for the first time. The driver was driving okay, too. However, we were thrilled by the other combination on the 3 temple tour, tour guide + extremely attentive driver (kept pushing drinks into our hands, always had a smile on our face and always gave us, after each sight, a refreshing towel, much more. But as already described, the tour itself was great! and after the tour guide was "a bit thawed?" also absolutely recommended.

We had booked the 3 temple tour and it had all worked out great! We were picked up on time at our hotel in Khaolak. Our guide Sonjay /Volker was really great! A German, who is married to a Thai woman, told us soooo much great and interesting in the temples and during the trips. Also we could ask anything, great! On the whole tour we were superbly looked after. Our nice driver drove very prudently and offered us a cool drink of our choice after each sight, as well as a wet wipe for hands or to refresh. The lunch with great views, was also very tasty and also here the drinks were incl. We booked 3 more day trips through Khaolak Land Discovery. We hope that these will be just as interesting and that everything will continue to go so smoothly....

Many thanks to Sonjay (People) for his detailed and interesting travel guide to these three extremely interesting as well as different temples. Through Sonjay, the essence of Buddhism was brought closer to us and perfectly explained for the time frame. It was a pleasure to meet him and experience this tour! Unrestrictedly recommendable!

As part of Khao Lak Land Discovery tours we did the bamboo rafting which was an exceptional experience, and one we did not think would be so good.Our guide was excellent in his navigation of the river and it was great for him to point out a number of animals within the environment.Whilst I presumed that this was going to be a rather boring activity, I must say that it was anything but.Highly recommended activity for all tourists who haven’t experienced bamboo rafting before.

Guide was amazing. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and just great to be with. The experience was a once in a lifetime.
