Elephant Bath

Our tour for the Elephant Bath of 2 adults and 2 kids didn't start off great with the driver picking us up 30 mins late. He then picked up someone about 5 mins drive up the road who after about 10 mins drive we found out was our tour guide. He then told us it was about 30-40 mins to get there. it took another hour. there wasn't much communication on the way there but plenty on the way back. It was just nice to see the scenery. Once there the Elephant camp seemed nice but because we were late the mahouts were waiting so we were rushed straight onto the elephants. So no real initial interaction. The walk up around the hill was ok at best. You have to pay 100thb for bananas half way up and once finished 250 thb for photos if you want them. The bathing with the elephants was the best part. Afterwards we were taken to a not so big waterfall and had lunch next door at a small restaurant which was nice.Overall the Elephants do not look happy and I wouldn't do this again.

Half day tour - worth to try

We (5 adults & 3 kids) joined the tour which included elephant trekking, lunch, visit waterfall. Overall, everything was well organised at a good standard.Transportation - safe driver, cosy van, reasonable distance Tour guide - nice & friendly, good advice Elephant trekking - 3 elephants for us, clean, walked through a path with ups and downs, quite a wonderful experience, but the elephant trainers smoked and were just so so.... Lunch - very nice in a local restaurant next to the waterfall, quiet, simple & relaxing Waterfall - a small scale, and the guide only spared 5 minutes for us to take a look Others - water, umbrella, free fruit were provided

Eine Spitzentour über 2 Tage

Wir haben die Khao Sok Baumhaustour über 2 Tage gebucht. Erst einmal vielen Dank an Isi, für den sehr freundlichen Emailverkehr. Es war eine super Tour die man nur empfehlen kann und unser ganz besonderer Dank geht an unseren Guide Rolo. Er hat uns so toll durch für 2 Tage geführt, besser hätte man es sich nicht wünschen können. Vielen Dank Rolo, es war super mit Dir. LG Henning & Heike

Good guides and transport

2 trips booked First elephant trek and bath a bit of a disappointment weather didnt help . Guide and driver great ,tour not so good Typical tourist trap tour but for what it cost when will you ever get a chance to get up close and interact with these magnificent creatures. Phang nga island tour no 3 highly recommend tour guide was great with a good sense of humour amazing scenery even a bonus stop cant say anymore incase the guys get in trouble
