We (+ our two "big" children) were on the 11.02.20 for two days with Rolo. Everything super organized. Rolo is very nice and knows what he is doing. The accommodation simple but TOP! No cell phone reception, no electricity at a later hour, no shower with its own toilet....you don't need that here. For me it was an experience as evening or even in the morning nature with the many animals came forward. At 4:30 the monkeys were doing gymnastics above our cabin in the trees ;-). You can't describe it......you just have to do it. Big praise to Rolo....stay as you are!

I enjoyed an amazing day trip to Surin Island with Khao Lak Land Discovery. The snorkeling stops were very beautiful. I saw so many different colourful fish and corals. Our guide was also very good. He gave us lots of information about the marine life of South-east Asia and with the help of pictures we could check what kind of fish and corals we have seen. Another highlight was the lunch at a wonderful beach. I have never seen such a crystal clear water before. I can definitely recommend this trip!

Our family including a 15yr and 10yr old did the Khao Sok day tour with Khao Lak Land Discovery. We booked last minute and they were very helpful in the office. Picked up on time with only 12 guests, our tour guide, Gift was great. Her English was excellent and she was very informative throughout. First stop was the local market, nice to have a quick look but not something that is essential to see. The canoeing down the Khao Sok river was beautiful despite the low water level. The guides spotted snakes in trees for us and couldn't help but see the family of monkeys hanging by the river bank. The lunch stop was a lovely tree house hotel, then onto the monkey temple. Some were a bit angry but Gift was very good keeping us away from these ones. I was a bit hesitant with the elephant bathing due to their welfare. It was short time scrubbing the mud from them and feeding them, enough time though for the elephant. They seem to be well cared for and they have been born in captivity so could not be left in the wild as they wouldn't know how to fend for themselves. Overall, the tour was great as small group and would recommend them for this type of tour.

We went on the dolphine cruise daytrip from Khao Lak. Short transfer to the boat. A nice day on the sea. First a visit at a hidden beach, there where no other groups there, only us! Good lunch at the boat. Then snorkling and later on fishing. Great and frendly staff, extra thank to our guide ’Charm’!! We went with our soon to be 3 year old son, worked well on the boat.
