Did the full day - visited turtle farm, bamboo rafting and elephant ride - all with a very friendly guide & driver. The elephant ride was not rushed as I have had before with plenty of time to feed and talk to the handlers afterward. Lunch was provided and was near a small waterfall - reasonable food and beautiful location.

Despite the rainy weather, we went with the kids riding the elephants. The tour itself is not really great (up and down the same trail) but the guide told us a lot of interesting things about these kind giants and you got to have a lot of respect for the men who work with them. Afterwards we had lunch by the waterfall and being vegetarians we were happily surprised by the standard and choice of the food. Thank you Jessey!

We booked a full day tour with Khao Lak Land Discovery for elephant trekking followed by river rafting.As it turned out it was raining on the day of the tour. We were picked up from our hotel right on time and went first to the elephant trekking. We were provided with ponchos to protect us from the rain, but the rain stopped before we reached the waterfall which was our destination. The waterfall was quite lovely, but when we began our return journey the heavens opened with heavy rain. The trek was still enjoyable, however.After feeding the elephants bananas, we drove to another waterfall where we were supposed to be able to swim. However, this was now a raging torrent after the heavy rain, so we instead went directly to lunch in the restaurant above the falls. Lunch was delicious, and we were pleasantly surprised how good the food was.We were then supposed to go rafting on the river, but when we expressed reservations with the water flow following the rain, the guide was happy to change it to a half day tour and refund the difference in cost between the half and full day tour. They then took us to the Turtle Conservation facility as a bonus, before depositing us back at the hotel.We were very happy with the tour guide Charlie and their flexibility in looking after us. The only criticism I would have is that the driver drove very fast in heavy rain, and it was a hair raising ride over the mountain.

We booked the shopping and sightseeing Phuket trip with KL Land Discovery after seeing the good price of 1000 thb. The condition of the minibus was good, and although we were the only English speaking people in the group of 8, the tour guide spoke good English and provided enough info on the local places of interest on the tour. The issue we had with this company was the driver. We were sat in the back row of the minibus and the driver made no allowance whilst going over speedbumps, sped continuously and there were several near misses. We felt the driver was in a rush all of the day. There was an older woman sat next to us also and she was also being thrown about In the bus and looked very uncomfortable. My husband did speak with the tour guide during the first stop to request she ask the driver to slow down, however there was absolutely no changes made by the driver. I feel that the driver had no respect for his passengers and would not recommend this company because of this.
