We used this organization for a 3 temples day tour and snorkeling tour around Surin Islands and we weren't dissapointed! Our trip to the 3 temples tour was with tour guide named Kim and she made the day so enjoyable and her knowledge of Thailand and its many wonders was impressive. We loved the whole day and the day went as planned lunch was amazing and the sites well worth it. Surin Islands was simply stunning and as a first time snorkeling experience was made so easy by the experienced staff. Our guide was Joe and he was informative and very humorous thank you Joe!

Wir haben über Khao Lak Discovery drei Touren gebucht ( Phang Nga Bayern Hong Island, 3Tempels, Phuket Nicht Explorer) und wir können den Tourveranstalter wärmstens empfehlen. Deutschsprachiger Tourguide mit unheimlich viel Hintergrundwissen auch über Thailand (Danke Vodka 😉) , sichere Fahrzeuge und sehr gute Fahrer ( thanks, Mr. Auch so Samhwah anderen Mr. Womit Kongsup). Man bekommt den ganzen Tag Getränke, die Speisen der angefahrenen Restaurants sind Top. Sehr gerne immer wieder

Wir buchten 2 Touren: die Khao Lak Safari und die Hong Islands TourDie Safari haben wir mit Guide Daniel und Fahrer Nipphon bestritten - pünktlich abgeholt wurden wir am Hotel mit einem Van, insgesamt waren wir 7 Gäste. Die Tour war super organisiert, nach Nationalpark und Floßfahrt schließlich Elefantenreiten. Da zwischendurch noch Zeit war besuchte Daniel mit uns spontan einen Tempel - obwohl es eigentlich gar nicht vorgesehen war, toll! Auch als ein Gast eine Apotheke aufsuchen musste konnte Daniel schnell helfen. Die Tour war insbesondere durch seine fröhliche Art und sein Fachwissen ein absoluter Traum, wir können ihn nur weiterempfehlen!!! Er hatte stets einen lustigen Spruch, wichtige Infos oder ein kaltes Getränk parat! Bei Wartezeiten hat er sogar eine Runde Kaffee aus seiner privaten Geldbörse finanziert, Daniel ist wirklich eine Bank, danke nochmals für den schönen Tag!Die Hong-Islands begannen etwas schleppend, da zunächst zwei Busse zusammengelegt wurden. Schließlich wieder mit Fahrer Nipphon und Guide Fabio machten wir uns auf den Weg - auch dieser Ausflug war der Hammer, muss man gesehen haben! Im Vergleich zu anderen Unternehmen sind wir wirklich in die Hongs reingefahren mit aufblasbaren Kanus (dafür lohnt sich die Abfahrt um 04:30 am Hotel!) Die anderen sind nur in die Lagunen gefahren und das wars, hier ist KLLD wirklich fair und bemüht, den Gästen was zu bieten.Bezahlung im Büro per VISA kein Problem, freundliche Betreuung per Mail (Abholzeit hatte sich verändert, es wurde ein Fax ans Hotel und eine Mail geschrieben mit der Bitte diese zu bestätigen - man war also wirklich interessiert daran, uns zu informieren). Haben schließlich unseren Hoteltransfer gecancelled und über KLLD einen transfer zum Airport gebucht - lief genauso toll, Fahrr war 10 Minuten vor Termin da, sicherer Fahrstil, freundlich, machen wir gerne jederzeit wieder. Insgesamt ein tolles Unternehmen, Guides sprechen deutsch, man fühlt sich gut aufgehoben. Auch wenn andere vielleicht ein paar Baht günstiger sein sollten (entzieht sich unserer Kenntnis, da wir dank der Bewertungen hier direkt zu KLLD sind), lohnt es sich, da wie oben bei den Hong Islands beschrieben, kein Touri-Nepp stattfindet, sondern das Wohlbefinden an oberster Stelle steht, so haben wir es empfunden. 5 Sterne! We went on a tour with Khao Lak Land Discovery last week. Our tour guide Gift was amazing! First off I want to thank Gift for a truly wonderful experience. Our tour started off by visiting the Tsunami Centre. The passion Gift showed & felt when explaining what had happened in the area and how it impacted her & her loved ones was so genuine it really made us take a look at our own lives and the privileges we have. Next we went to the Turtle Conservation Center. It was touching seeing all of the hard work the locals put into trying to revive the turtle population in the local area. Then we went bamboo rafting. Wow! Just wow! Our guide on this tour was a charmer. Stopping off down the river to pick us flowers, showing us the bamboo, bananas, snakes. It was one of the best back to nature experiences, feeling like we were the only ones floating on a bamboo raft down the river. After the rafting we drove to a waterfall where we had lunch. As you can imagine the food was absolutely delicious. And taking in the views of the waterfall as we ate was the icing on the cake. Then we visited a temple, we seen the monks and we were treated to some more amazing knowledge that Gift shared with us about local traditions and buddhism. It was insightful.The best was saved for last. The Elephant Bath..... and it was amazing. We were up and close with the youngest female elephant and her trainer. Bathing in a large pool and giving her a nice scrub down. It was something I will never forget. It was scary I must admit but the experience was amazing.Our driver Suk then drove us back to our hotel in Karon Beach which was a bit over 2 hours away. We did spend a lot of time travelling but I would do it again and again as it was well worth the travel and the money.I can't wait to do another tour next time I visit.Thank you so much Gift.
