Off road safari

A great day out. We visited the temple first, then made our way to the jungle. It is a steep walk down, but the ground was dry so wasn't slippery. I can imagine if it was raining would be a difficult walk. Nice waterfall at the bottom, which you can have a swim in. There is plenty of ice cold water and coke provided. You get a chance to ride on top of the jeep which is good fun. Also see tarantulas and lizards. Our guide Dido was very good, had a good sense of humour and very informative. After lunch which was at a lovely setting we went to the mangroves on a paddle boat which was very peaceful and relaxing. Be sure to take plenty of sun screen and a good mosquito repellent. An excellent day out.

What a great day out!

I had such a good trip our with Twan the tour guide and his driver Eddie! I learnt so much and seen amazing sights! Twan and Eddie made the day enjoyable for everyone, with jokes here and there, was great fun! Also the guide is bilingual so i was able to understand everything and ask questions! Great day out, got to see monkeys when canoeing down the jungle river and what a beautiful waterfall you get to see. Refreshments provided all day which was a really nice touch! Once again cant thank these guys enough 11/10 :)All the best Craig from England

Jurassic Park in the Rain Forest

Good day; like being in Jurassic Park, leaves as large as houses. Need good walking shoes, don’t go in flip flops or you will break a leg or your neck. The day starts with a pick up in your all day jeep so no change overs. 45 mins down the day you cutoff to a river where you pick up your canoe and paddle man. 50 mins on the water through mangroves; if you are Lucky you will see monkeys.then out off the water. It takes 30 mins to walk through the forest to a place to have tea. This is where you need shoes. It is steep then down hill, drops and tree roots to climb over. It has steppingstones but they move and are covered in leaves. I lost my footing and went down saved by a pole I grabbed. Then lunch at a really lovely restaurant that served authentic Thai food, watch out for the heated dish, it will blow your brains out. Then Jurassic park, off road experience not for the non rough and ready types. It’s great but don’t expect a huge waterfall as it’s a tiny trickle of water over rock. Huge sugar cane forms a canopy over the trail. You get the the opportunity to sit on the roof. Great fun! Back on the main road you are taken to a small temple then home. The day was let down by the guide who spoke in German most of the time and to us in short condensed phases which on a trip advertised as in English was very bad. I could understand some but my partner was totally lost.Go b before it’s not there anymore and destroyed by developer’s!

Elephant bathing
