Long trip down from Khao Lak...

Long trip down from Khao Lak 3 hrs. Heavy traffic getting into Phuket. Memorable visit to the Big Budda. Off to the night markets in Phuket. So glad it was under cover as rain at times pretty heavy. Able to spend 3 hrs wandering around and able to purchase pretty good street food for tea. Torrential rain periods going back but we had a very good driver who was employed by Land Discovery Khao Lak. Good afternoon.

Guide 0/10 and dirty site

It was our third outing with KHO LAK LAND DISCOVERY - both done before went well so it is with confidence that we participated in koa lak wildlife 2 j - frankly the guide (German nickname role ) is bad , he is in his world taking pictures not even to offer them at the end of the excursion (except of course to the Germans) - the extension to the temple and none because he explains nothing on the site (perhaps he explained it to the group of Germans who were with us - majority 6 people) - fortunately there was the guide in French training to give a little lightness to the experience and explain to us certain aspects of Thailand - pay BTH 15 000 for this experiment where we are ill accompanied with explanations in the drip it is a scandal - The landscapes are beautiful certainly, it is a real digital detoxification but finally we see very few animals except the guide who has telephoto lens - we do hours of traditional boat frankly uncomfortable (2 hours to get to the site) then directly after arrival 3 h for exploration where we see only 4 types of animals (bird , deer and buffalo, monkey ) -> you will not have more - any other nature reserve in any place in the world will be better in the sight of the deplorable organization made by this guide and moreover during the boat hours you are told to close because your voices may frighten animals - NO but frankly animals are used to the presence of man in view of the number of excursions organized on this site and motor boats that pass through the site and which make a lot of noise - the guide is so lame that he does not know how to apprehend wild animals - he does » he does « he does » Khao LAK LAND DISCOVERY I beg you to go and visit the site to ask for an improvement the infrastructure where tourists from the world will spend 1 night: cleaning and securing access to the cabins - I do not thank ROLO for its organization - otherwise we thank the boat operator, the locals on site who made us food and the French apprentice guide

My husband & i booked this...

My husband & i booked this experience while staying in Khao Lak & we are so glad we did, we got to meet our amazing tour guide Arisaya. She is passionate about her country & can see why, its amazing. She took us to a local market, showing us different things we wouldnt normally.next we went to the elephants, so amazing. we got to Bathe, feed & see where they lived. id recommend taking a waterproof camera or waterproof phone case to take pictures, itll be worth it. we was provided with ponchos due to the rain that we could use for the duration of the experience. we got to see a beautiful waterfall & having a great lunch in a treehouse (which is a place you can stay at aswell) we did a canoe trip, it was a tad wet but the rain didnt ruin our canoe trip again waterproof phone case that goes around your neck is really ideal. we was provided with water or soft drink during the trip. Arisaya informed us all the way through the day on what we would be doing. This is a must if your visiting.
