Absolutely fantastic day , we were 11 in total of all different ages and the whole day was amazing , Jake our guide was incredibly and the driver Mr ( apologies I’ve forgotten his name ) was amazing very attentive with ice cold drinks and wipes all the time . The lunch provided was one of the best we had very fresh, variety and plentiful. We would all highly recommend this trip . 5 star plus

Exhausting, since approach from Khao Lak does not manage under 2 hours. And despite the typical Thai driving style, some would say risky. The Big Buddha is worth a visit, even if heavily visited. You can also be blessed by a monk. The Naka Weekend Market is huge, m. M. about 5 times the size of Bang Niang Market. See and eat fish and crustaceans. Bake half the fresh lobster, delicious. But also in meat, vegetables and fruit everything your heart desires. Plus life music. Even the non food area offers more than Khaolak, everything the tourist needs, or not. One could discuss the stay. 40 minutes at Buddha is relatively short (based on the mass of people). We personally don't need 4 hours in the market for food and to stroll through the aisles once. But others may see things differently.

This tour was fantastic from start to finish. We were collected from our hotel promptly, and first visited the Police boat and Tsunami memorial. Although not the happiest of subjects to start the trip with, and some of the photos are pretty harrowing and moving, it's an important topic to learn about.The tour also included stops at a local temple, a turtle conservation centre, bamboo rafting, lunch and elephant feeding & washing at a local sanctuary. At each stop soft drinks were provided, traditional coffee was provided at the bamboo rafting and freshly-cooked lunch also provided, and all this was included in the price of the tour. We had plenty of time at each activity and were provided with lots of local information and insight throughout by our guide.The guide was very friendly, patient and informative throughout. We always felt that we had plenty of time at each location and were never rushed, but he was also always on-hand whenever we wanted to ask questions or to provide information. Also, the lunch that he arranged at a local restaurant was very tasty indeed!Overall, a great tour with so many brilliant experiences packed into one day. Well worth doing and, if we visit Khao Lak again, will definitely look to Khao Lak Land Discovery to book our next trip :)
