This was a good tour overall...

This was a good tour overall to experience Khao Sok National Park. The tree house is owned by the tour company and could use some upgrades and better maintenance but it was fun and the food was pretty good. Both the long tail boat on the lake and the river rafting were relaxing and beautiful. The views on the lake are simply breathtaking! The tour guide and driver were lovely people and our group was fantastic. The temple visit was disappointing as the temple was nothing special and this stop was really more of a chance to feed the monkeys. Although fun, there were monkeys everywhere so I think this was a missed opportunity to see something more interesting. I wasn’t comfortable with being encouraged to go in the river to bath the elephants so didn’t. Don’t elephants know how to bath themselves? I’d been to another sanctuary and had a much better experience that did not include going into the river. I’m not sure this practice is ethical and the sanctuary felt too commercialized.

Sehr abwechslungsreiche Tour in gutem Jeep...
