Unsere Tour zu den Phi Phi Islands war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis, was vor allem an unserem Guide Rey lag. Er war einfach super – herzlich, kompetent und hat sich perfekt um uns gekümmert! Die Organisation war erstklassig und die Kulisse aus türkisfarbenem Wasser und Felsen ist weltklasse. Leider gibt es einen großen Wermutstropfen: Wir waren schockiert über den vielen Müll auf den Inseln. Besonders traurig ist, dass dieser offensichtlich von den Touristen selbst verursacht wird. Es ist sehr, sehr schade, dass so viele Besucher dieses Paradies achtlos verschmutzen und ihre Abfälle einfach liegen lassen. Das bricht einem das Herz. Fazit: 5 Sterne für Rey und das Team! Wer die Natur liebt, sollte die Tour machen, aber bitte: Nehmt euren Müll wieder mit, damit dieser Ort eine Chance hat.

The gathering point before the tour is very chaotic and crowded. No place to sit to eat breakfast. Way too many people. Dishes and trash not cleaned up in a timely manner. Make sure you are prepared for a rough ride in the boat to Phi Phi / Maya Bay. Ride is 1.25 hours each way. Weather dependent but frequently a rough ride. Maya Bay was the highlight. Other stops were not so nice/touristy. Snorkeling (once for 30 mins) was ok - the water was deep so not close to the fish and visibility was not the best. Tour guide and crew were very good.

The schedule was a bit of a mixed bag. Some in parts (seeing the elephants, and the lake cruise) were very good. Others (eg the monkey temple and the market) were quite underwhelming. In particular the ‘jungle trek’ was no such thing - it only lasted around 30 minutes and we were surrounded by other tourist groups the entire time, which killed the experience a bit. The accommodation at the Rock Tree house was very nice, and our guides (Philip and Noona) were excellent and very accommodating. Overall if you are looking to do lots of different things at a relatively surface level, the tour is quite good. However it is not an ‘adventurous’ tour by any stretch of the imagination, which is what we were looking for. Really good for families with kids and perhaps older people.

Durchweg gute Tour, hervorragend organisiert. Es gibt eindrucksvolle Natur zu sehen, fast alleine im Nationalpark. Wir haben in den Mangrovenwäldern Affen, Schlangen und (grosse) Spinnen entdecken können.
