Sehr empfehlenswert.
Did this tour the other day with our very energetic guide Ake.Ake is a fantastic guy, very keen and did absolutely everything he could to ensure we had a good time and were safe. He was a very funny man and gave us plenty of information and tips on things. His english was ok for us (Aussie) but at times he was a little hard to understand and I could tell that some of the other tourists (European) were having a lot of difficulty understanding him.Transfers were very well handled and everything ran smoothly as far as timings go. The van and longtail rides were fine and our small group of 12 was perfect size for the trip.Canoeing:Yeah, it was ok I guess. Stinking hot in the life vests and you get a guy paddling for you. My guy spent most of the 30min paddle dropping hints about the gratuity/tip which wore thin. Fortunately for him I was one of the only ones in our group that actually took money with me on the canoe and he got a tip (which he didnt seem too happy with the amount which was more than generous in my opinion). Others in our group didnt have money with them which led to some shirty canoeists openly showing their dismay. This embarrassment could have been avoided if it was made clear on the website to take money for tips/gratuities.James Bond Island:Nice to look at but 20 mins would be more than enough. Absolute tourist trap, tons of tourists crowded and hustling about (and mayhem on the little thin track you need to walk across the island on). I heard some people had to pay to use toilets.Muslim Village Lunch:Nice meal, good range of food. Village isnt very exciting but the locals are polite and not pushy. Best fed and healthiest cats I have ever seen!!!!Monkey Temple:Lame. Walk in and walk out, avoid the monkeys they are very unpredictable and some were actually grabbing and chasing people without any provocation. It has nothing on the Big Buddha not really sure why its part of the tour to be honest.Overall, it wasnt bad but I cant say it was good. But it killed a day and I guess I am glad I experienced it. If it wasnt for the enthusiasm of Ake it would have got 2 stars though sorry guys!
Really enjoyable tour, with friendly tour guide. Went in a boat to James Bond island, got lunch at the floating village, then visited a monkey cave.

Going stir crazy at the resort I was Talking to some other guests that had just returned from this safari and they raved about it. We did the tour yesterday and were not disappointed. Our guide Tanya was great. First stop was Small Sandy Beach after a short walk through rain forest it's a fabulous beach swimming in pristine ocean very secluded but with a small shop. Options are A 20 min jungle walk followed by a swim or just enjoy the beach. Next was bamboo rafting that was our highlight. Easy run down the river with some low key Rapids great scenery and a beaut swim after. Next was lunch one of the best feeds we have had here At cafe by waterfall. Followed by swim at waterfall.
Next Elephant village that really look after the animals and an hr ride on the elephants that was very good.
Lastly we visited the turtle regeneration farm run by the military. Vary interesting with turtles at different stages being cared for before being released.
A great day out.
