Khao Lak Safari - making memories
A great day starting with a pick up at the hotel. Our guide Gift, checked we had everything to make the day as special as possible. We were joined by 2 other families - making our group a total 8. It was very comfortable in the minivan and our driver was lovely. First stop was a temple, our guide was very informative. Our 2 boys were desperate to see the elephants. Our boys were very patient at the temple. Then we went to see the turtles, again our guide was very informative about the conservation of turtles and was happy to answer questions. After a short drive we got to the bamboo station where we boarded our bamboo raft. The boys thought this was brilliant as did we. The experience was magical and we saw several different species of butterflies, frogs and a snake. All making it perfect. The rafts go over a few tiny rapids - which get your bum wet! Lots of giggles followed! A trip highlight. Once back on the bank, our boys were surprised with birthday cake - making it a birthday to remember. A quick stop at the waterfall. A chance for a quick dip. Next stop was lunch - this was a selection of dishes. All well prepared. The crispy chicken being a favourite. Lots of water and soft drinks were provided throughout the trip. Then a 40 minute drive to the elephant welfare centre - giving everyone time for a post lunch nap. Perfectly timed. We arrived at the elephant centre - beautiful setting. Three beautiful calm and happy elephants arrived to several wows and ahhh. They were adorable and enjoyed many bananas. This was a highlight. Our guide gift continued to provide us with information about the elephants. After the elephants devoured all the bananas they went for a dip in the river and a chance for us to scrub them. A great relaxing and calm experience especially as we were the only people there. Heavy rain fell cutting this experience a little short as we took cover. Gift provided us with rain coats, drinks and sliced pineapple. The heavy rain continued as we left the elephants and we drove to the tsunami memorial and police boat this was a moving experience. This was a
great day out enjoyed by the whole family. The calm, smooth running of the trip made it a brilliant way to spend our twins birthday. Thank you.
A great half day tour. had a 4year old elephant to trek 1km with
to river where you get to scrub and swim with the animal
so much fun. The guide of tour Robert very very good and

Khao Sok 3 Day Treehouse Reservoir - a great experience!
This tour is an absolute must for anyone who wants to holiday in the Khao Lak area and experience something very special. We spent 3 days with Rolo - a brilliant guide who knows the jungle and nature reserve super well and authentically lives and conveys the love for the animals and nature. Bathing and feeding the elephants on the first day was the first highlight of many! The overnight stay in the comfortable tree house was something very special, but the absolute highlight was the longtail boat ride on the reservoir through the fascinating landscape of Khao Sok National Park. On our three species of game we were lucky enough to see elephants up close several times and to observe, among other things, crooks, sambar deer, warblers and various bird species. However, the biggest adventure of this tour for us was the time we got to spend with the rangers. The unique atmosphere there, the warm people, the life in the untouched nature we will not soon forget. The rustic bamboo huts were equipped with a thick mattress, toilets and laundry facilities were also available.Thank you Rolo, for this great tour - it was incredibly great and impressive!
