This was easily the best day of our holiday. The tour guide was awesome, he was passionate about his country, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour which absolutely made the day. We stopped by the morning market, did the off road safari, walked down to the beautiful waterfall, visited a buddhist temple, had a lovely lunch and did a relaxing canoe trip. Unlike the boat trip we booked through a different company where there were loads of us packed into a boat like sardines. This felt like a truly authentic relaxed trip with only 6 of us in the group. Lunch was freshly prepared for us with quite a few choices and everything was really tasty. Highly recommend this trip. If we return to Khao Lak we'll be doing it again.
