Amazing Day Out
Really good experience, well worth the moneyMook our guide was lovely and ensured we were looked after during the excursion.Canoing was amazing a gentle amble through the little amazon river lots of wildlife and soectacular views. The off road section was spectacular, with frequent stops to look at flora and fauna. The restaurant was in the middle of a fish lagoon and food was delicious. We didnt realise there was a temple visit and werent prepared as women need to ensure they are wearing trousers and shoulders, fortunately one of the other guests lianed my wife a towel so we could enjoy the experience in full. All in all a great trip, its a long day and rather tiring as it was 35 degrees celcius all day!!Well done team 😊
The Similan Islands are absolutely stunning and a must-visit. Great organization, friendly staff, and having an Italian-speaking guide was a big plus. Excellent breakfast before departure and appreciated coffee and biscuits on return. The only improvement would be a slightly longer time on the islands. We left from Kamala Beach at 4 am, with a 2.5-hour van transfer to the pier, followed by a 1.5-hour boat ride (departure around 7:00 am, arrival around 8:30 am). We left the last island at 1:45 pm, giving us just over 5 hours to enjoy the beaches and snorkel. Considering the long journey (back at the hotel around 7:00 pm), it felt a bit short. That said, it was absolutely worth it. Incredible destination, beautiful coral, and many turtles. I would definitely do it again, but one extra hour would make it perfect overall.
