Nous avons fait 3 excursions avec cet opérateur : les iles similan, les 3 temples et l'ile de James Bond. Tout était parfait tant au niveau de l'organisation que de la qualité des prestations fournies. Merci à Hugues pour son professionnalisme et sa bonne humeur permanente... même à 4h du matin! La qualité de ses explications a été super pour profiter pleinement de nos découvertes. Bravo!!!

This is a very commoditized offering with hundreds of companies offering the same trip with a near identical itinerary - you see them all at the lunch stop, which was accurately described as ‘chinatown’ by our guide. It could still have been a fun day spent in beautiful, picturesque islands, with soft white sands and perfect blue water - as the surroundings are perfect, but ruined by hoardes of tourists being shepherded around in packs. The company did nothing to curate or enhance the experience. We were sold on this company, which is more expensive than competitors, by our diving school owner saying it was a smaller, more intimate experience with good guides. But the reality was the opposite.There were 30+ people on the trip, we followed the same itinerary as everyone else and ended up on crowded spots with boat after tourist boat arriving, hordes posing for pictures etc. - it had a package tour feel which wasn’t justified by the price.The main disappointments were 1. very little time spent snorkeling (2 x 45 mins stops) with the rest being free time at a crowded beach - not what was advertised 2. The guide spoke barely any English, so you couldn’t really communicate behind the limited script they knew. Given this, the instructions were very poor and made the whole experience annoying (eg.; being told we will go for a walk after lunch, but not that the walk will end in a beach with an hour plus of swim time - we did not carry towels, sunscreen etc.) 3. The snorkeling locations didn’t have a whole lot to see - maybe it was our bad luck, but the guide did nothing to orient us to the terrain, point out interesting things etc. All he said was go and be back in 45. 4. Just before we finished, we got lucky and spotted a turtle, but instead of watching it from a distance as any experienced diver or snorkeller would, the guide encouraged the group to surround it, touch it and feed it bananas. This was the most annoying part of the trip and probably explains why there was so little to see at the snorkelling spots 5. Lunch was awful (we are not picky eaters and love local food), but that we were not terribly upset about, as is to be expected on a remote island. But there were other groups whose companies had put up much better spreads.

Excellent customer service helping my family and I to set up transportation to Ao Nang. They were busy every time I stepped in the air conditioned office. They do tours, transfers and bike rentals. Would definitely recommend and use them again!

Wir haben kurzfristig via Internet einen Ausflug zu den Similan Islands zum Schnorcheln gebucht. Um 6.40 Uhr wurden wir in Mai Khao im Hotel mit einem Kleinbus abgeholt. Dann gings zum Yachtclub, wo sich weitere Gäste mit Kleinbussen einfanden, es wurden leider mehr und mehr. Am Ende waren wir etwa 30 Personen, die das Speedboot bestiegen, das nun voll war. Es kümmerten sich 3 Guides um uns, die Englisch, Deutsch und Italienisch sprachen. Nach 1,5 Stunden schneller Fahrt erreichten wir die 9 Inseln. Den Tag über gabs es zwei Schnorchelstops und auch Badestops. Die Unterwasserwelt ist wirklich sehr artenreich und wir waren froh, uns für diese Tour entschieden zu haben. Herrlich bunte Fische und die grüne Meeresschildkröte. Der Sand der Strände ist fast weiß und fein wie Puder - ein Traum. Türkisblaues Meer! Wie wir im Laufe des Tages feststellten, war es gut, daß wir so früh los sind, denn die auf den Inseln ankommenden Boot wurden mehr und mehr. Das Hauptpublikum: Chinesen! Zu Mittag stoppten wir auf einer völlig überbevölkerten Insel, auf der sich mind. 700 - 800 Chinesen aufhielten und dort verköstigt wurden. Unser KLLD Bootsteam hatte unser Mittagessen mitgebracht, das wir mangels Sitzmöglichkeiten im stehend oder auf dem Boden hockend zu uns nahmen, inmitten des Trubels. Mehr als ungemütlich! Am Nachmittag ging es wieder per Speedboot zurück, so daß wir um 16.15Uhr wieder im Yachthafen. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an unseren Guide Daniel! Er hat sich sehr bemüht. Tip: Wer Vegetarier ist oder Lebensmittelallergien hat, sollte das unbedingt bei der Buchung sagen. Wir wurden leider nicht gefragt und hatten da etwas Pech. Fazit: die Similan Islands sind wirklich sehens- und empfehlenswert, auch wenn die Rahmenbedingungen (selbst für thailändische Verhältnisse) nicht optimal waren. Wer es sich leisten kann und will und keine Massenabfertigung möchte, sollte eher eine private Tour buchen und möglichst früh los starten.
