Bei der Beschreibung Early Bird spielt man mit dem Gedanken, einer der ersten an den Spots zu sein. Wir wurden um 4 Uhr morgens im Hotel abgeholt, als wir am Hafen bzw. An den Stränden ankamen war ich einfach nur geschockt, ich habe kein Wort mehr über meine Lippen bekommen. Vor mir war gefühlt schon ein Kreuzfahrtschiff, dass gerade angehalten hat um seine 6.000 Menschen abzuladen. Nie wieder werde ich so einen Ausflug buchen, das hat mit Urlaub nichts mehr zu tun. Ihr könnt den normalen Ausflug buchen hier sind genauso viele Leute vor Ort und Ihr zahlt nur einen Bruchteil.

Michael unser Guide hat uns sehr viel erklärt. Wir waren nur zu viert und es war ein sehr schöner Tag mit vielen schönen Eindrücken. Die Tour ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen

We booked this somewhat expensive but very nice and professionally conducted day trip to the Surin Islands via Khao Lak Land Discovery. The actual boat trip was carried out by another renowned company.After a very early pick-up at the hotel in Khao Lak about 5am you were on time for sunrise at the pier in Khao Lak, had to check in there, there was a quick breakfast and the first information about the day trip in our local language in German.After about an hour it started. They went barefoot on the speedboat catamaran. The crew and tour guides introduced themselves.There was mind. 2 rounds of snorkeling on great reefs, as well as 2 shore excursions, once at the See-Nomaden village and a beach and bathing stop on the neighboring island with additional late lunch buffet. On board were constantly soft drinks and water, as well as fresh fruit or cookies. Highlights on this island were the wild animals such as monkeys, birds or warblers. In the See-Nomaden-Village and during the bathing stop, things and souvenirs could also be bought if necessary.The snorkeling equipment was provided. The crew and guides were nice and friendly and happy to help. So this trip was a great successful experience.After the return journey, we stopped briefly at the pier where we could change our clothes and use the toilet facilities again if necessary before being taken back to the hotels.Except for getting up early, it was a great day.

Also booked with Khao Lak Land Discovery a very nice and long day trip "Amazing 3 Temple Tour Khao Lak" with German speaking tour guide. Pick up at the hotel in Khao Lak at around 8am in a mini-bus.We first went to the temple Wat Manee Sri Mahathat, which is located on a main road, then we had the extensive lunch in the group in a beautiful Thai restaurant on a lake with typical Thai dishes and rice, as well as fruit for dessert. The drinks are exclusive.In the early afternoon we drove to the royal Wat Bang Riang temple with extensive park and other interesting Buddha statues, as well as free-living monkeys. Since this temple is located on a mountain and in the hilly surroundings, you had to make some effort. But it was still feasible.The last temple was the Naga cave temple Wat Tham Phaya Nakarad, where you have to climb the open and closed caves a bit via simpler stairs and metal ladders. This is a bit more strenuous because partly without shoes. Once at the top there is a very great view of the surrounding area.There was extensive information about each temple. Between the slightly longer bus rides there was additional information from the tour guide. At each stop there were soft drinks or water from the driver. Driver and tour guide were very nice and friendly.We stayed at the hotel again in Khao Lak in the late afternoon.We thought it was a very interesting trip to get to know the (south) Thai religion and culture.
