Absolutely Brilliant. Our favourite part of our holiday.We had an early pick up at 4.45, so were a bit apprehensive as to what the day would bring. We went by minivan to Bang Nga stopping to pick up the rest of our group (8 in total) on the way. We then stopped for coffee before driving to the pier.Our transport was a large longboat which was half open at the front with a cabin in the other half so lots of room for us all to sit in the sun or shade as we preferred. We sailed first to "Ice Cream Cave" where our excellent tour guide Raj gave us a tour by foot. He explained that the reason we left so early, was to miss all the crowds who would come in the afternoon. How right he was!Next on to Hong Island where we got off our long tail boat into 4 inflatable canoes each paddled by Raj, the captain and two crew members. We got to go inside the island and around under some narrow tunnels/caves. Then back on the boat to James Bond Island which by 10am was still quiet before the hoards were due to descend. Next stop was another island for more canoeing around the island and through mangrove trees (really pretty)Finally we went to the Floating Village for our lunch, which was an excellent sharing meal for the 8 of us. We then had an hour to wander around the village and buy souvenirs, visit the mosque, football stadium, etc. In your own time as you wished. From the restaurant we could see boat after boat speeding towards the islands, so knew we would have been crammed in the different sites if we'd done the trip in the afternoon instead of the morning.Then back to the mainland and the minibus to drop us back to our hotel for 2.30. Couldn't praise Raj and his crew highly enough. For 2700tbh this was by far the best value and most enjoyable trip we did and was all the more special because we were really looked after and didn't feel rammed in for maximum profit like on some other tours.Thank you Khao Lak Land Discovery!

Wir haben letzte Woche die Halbtages-Tour mit Elefantenreiten und Schwimmen am Wasserfall gebucht. Ich war entsetzt über den Umgang mit den Elefanten vor Ort!!! Sie wurden mit Eisenhaken an ihren empfindlichsten Stellen geschlagen wenn sie nur etwas fressen wollten, und dadurch leicht vom Weg abgekommen sind oder stehen blieben, und wurden oft grundlos angeschrien. Den Babyelefanten hielten sie an einer kurzen Kette und zeigte dadurch schon auffällige Verhaltensmuster. Einfach nur furchtbar...Ich werde solch eine Tour NIE MEHR buchen, und diese Tierquälerei nicht mehr unterstützen!

We absolutely loved this trip. Picked up at designated time from our hotel in an air conditioned van. Our tour guides Noy and Tommy were very friendly and informative and we knew exactly how the day was going to be run. The trip to the islands takes about 1 hour via speed boat. Cold drinks and food are always available on the boat. The beaches are spectacular and the snorkelling is beautiful. Lunch is provided and there is plenty of time at each stop that you don't feel rushed. The whole day is amazing.

Wir waren auf der Safari Tour und erlebten einen speziell schönen Tag. Die Begleitung und persönliche Betreuung von Rolo war prima und ruhig organisiert. Die vielseitigen Asien Kenntnisse von Rolo waren interessant und spannend. Die Anzahl von sechs Personen die daran teilnehmen waren für uns persönlich top. Ein Kompliment und Dank an den Fahrer. Es war ein wundervoller Tag.

Wir haben heute an einer Safari Tour teilgenommen und waren sehr begeistert davon. Unser deutschsprachiger Reisebegleiter war "Kab" und der Fahrer hieß "N" ;) Wir wurden überpünktlich an unserem Hotel abgeholt und nett begrüßt. Unser erster Stop war ein einheimischer Markt. Beim zweiten Stop, an einer kleinen Tempelanlage, hatten wir die Möglichkeit Affen zu füttern und tolle Erinnerungsfotos zu schießen. Danach ging die Fahrt in unserem klimatisierten Minibus weiter. Auf der gesamten Tour wurden wir mit ausreichend Getränken ausgestattet. Bei einer 1stündigen Kanufahrt hatten wir genügend Zeit die tolle Landschaft des Nationalparkes zu genießen. Im Anschluss gab es ein tolles Mittagessen. Thai Küche. Nach einer kurzen Fahrt erreichten wir das Elefanten Camp, der Höhepunkt unserer Tour. Die Tiere wurden gut versorgt, also habt keine Bedenken. Der Ausritt auf den Elefanten dauert in etwa eine Stunde. Rund um eine gelungene Tour. "Kap"& "N" kümmerten sich den ganzen Tag gut um uns und Dank der Thai-Sprachkenntnissen von "Kap" mussten wir nie anstehen. Macht weiter so ihr beiden. Ich kann die Tour sehr, sehr weiter empfehlen.
