This tour is an absolute must for anyone who wants to holiday in the Khao Lak area and experience something very special. We spent 3 days with Rolo - a brilliant guide who knows the jungle and nature reserve super well and authentically lives and conveys the love for the animals and nature. Bathing and feeding the elephants on the first day was the first highlight of many! The overnight stay in the comfortable tree house was something very special, but the absolute highlight was the longtail boat ride on the reservoir through the fascinating landscape of Khao Sok National Park. On our three species of game we were lucky enough to see elephants up close several times and to observe, among other things, crooks, sambar deer, warblers and various bird species. However, the biggest adventure of this tour for us was the time we got to spend with the rangers. The unique atmosphere there, the warm people, the life in the untouched nature we will not soon forget. The rustic bamboo huts were equipped with a thick mattress, toilets and laundry facilities were also available.Thank you Rolo, for this great tour - it was incredibly great and impressive!

Im Rahmen unseres Tagesausfluges haben wir einige Nationalparks und Wasserfälle in der nahen Umgebung von Khao Lak besucht, sowie eine Bootstour durch einen Mangrovenwald in Khao Lak gemacht. Dort konnten wie Vögel, Affen und Schlangen beobachten.Die Abholung vom Hotel mit einem Mini-Bus lief reibungslos ab. Der englischsprechende Guide war sehr nett. Wir kehrten auch zwischenzeitlich zum Mittagessen in einem lokalen, thailändischen Restaurant ein, was die Reiseagentur ausgesucht hatte. Es schmeckte ebenfalls alles sehr gut.Ich kann die Agentur Khao Lak Land Discovery sehr gut weiterempfehlen.

We visited Khao Lak for the second time and wanted to learn about the temples and Buddhism this time. When we heard that our guide is a former monk and so we should know everything about it, we were already very pleased. It turned out, however, that he did not want to teach us the stories of Buddha, nor could he explain the philosophy behind Buddhism. It just meant he couldn't tell everything, so he told almost nothing. He also always ran ahead to the bus or temple so you couldn't talk. And last but not least, he conveyed to each of the questions feeling naive and asking inappropriate questions. What a time and a waste of money!
