This is a review of the Half Day Elephant Welfare Centre trip we booked through them, which is advertised in their brochure.Firstly, but least importantly, it isn't a half day. After loads of travel and picks ups etc, it is around an hour and a half there.More importantly, it is not a welfare centre. The elephants are ordered around a very small enclosure and respond to command. They look dead behind the eyes and are marched down to the steam to be washed by groups of tourists. They must have to do this multiple times a day. They are bread in captivity and you can make out their small cages in the distance. It's not good to see and I cannot understand how this contributes to their 'welfare'.We were naive, but it has made me realise I should not have contributed towards this industry and will never pay for any kind of animal interaction again.

Es war einfach unglaublich..die Naur ein Traum, alles bestens organisiert..das Resort so schön, das Essen toll sowie die dazugehörigen Snacks und immer Getränke...und das beste: unser Guide ;) Absolut zu empfehlen...das nächste Mal werde ich min. 2 Nächte im Tree House verbringen

Nous avons passés 2 jours passionnants avec notre guide Hughes , une journée aux îles de Similan et une journée au centre de conservation des tortues , éléphants , ballade en radeau etc.. d’une gentillesse incroyable et surtout tellement professionnel , plein d’attention il connait par coeur son sujet ! Au top nous reviendrons et c’est sure nous le rappellerons !

We booked the Khao Sok Paddle and Elephant Tour as well as the Island Snorkel Tour. Both guides were really great. Reacts flexibly to events, so we had plenty of time. And of course you are not alone on the snorkel tour and we were actually the first anywhere as promised. But doesn't want to grind me out what it's like at times when there are normally many tourists in the region. There are much cheaper providers, but organization, planning, execution and friendliness of the guides were great.
