We were given half hour at the big Buddha so ended up rushing round constantly watching time but had nearly 4 hours at the market

Prima dagreis, maar door ziekte - voedselvergiftiging kind - moesten we annuleren en kostte verzetten 14000 baht extra; allereerst verplicht naar de dokter die voor 8000 baht een verplichte doktersverklaring opstelt, twee antibioticakuren geeft en pillen tegen de misselijkheid voorschrijft. Daarnaast moesten we opnieuw meer dan de helft betalen bovenop de oorspronkelijke prijs voor vier personen. De initiële oplossing was dat we ons zieke kind alleen konden laten en met z’n drieën op pad moesten gaan, daarna was het voorstel om dan met twee mensen te gaan etc. Al met al ging het zoeken naar een oplossing moeizaam en het was kostbaar. Op de dag zelf konden we door de monsoonregen een deel van de trip niet doen, maar dat kan gebeuren. We hadden een buitengewoon vriendelijke en capabele gids en chauffeur die zelfs bij slecht weer een mooie trip verzorgden.

Excellent, well-timed, not rushed tour. Our knowledgeable, calm & caring guide willingly answered our queries and helped with photographs when we were with the elephants & waterfall. All parts of this tour were well planned & scheduled, we felt ahead of the rush. Lunch was generous & very tasty. Soft drinks and refreshing wipes were offered throughout the trip. We had a fantastic day, memories were made with some huge laughs (rafting - we definitely got wet) and emotional moments (elephant experience & tsunami exhibition). We took this trip during the rainy season; water was high for rafting, the waterfall looked amazing but we did not swim - it was running a little too fast for us but some local visitors were enjoying the waters. My tips - take towels, change of clothes (there were plenty of clean facilities along route although I didn’t notice any at the waterfall) & have cash.

Sehr abwechslungsreich und kurzweilig. Super Guide (Dominik), jederzeit kompetent, nett und organisiert. War in unseren Flitterwochen unser zweiter Ausflug mit Khao Lak Land Discovery und wir waren beide Male sehr sehr glücklich mit unserer Wahl.
