My mom and I went to Thailand in February 2013. We used Khao Lak Land Discovery to book tours during our time spent in Khao Lak. On day one we did a tour of the Similan Islands. This was a great way to see the beauty of the ocean and offered really good snorkeling spots. The boat ride was super bumpy so luckily I took some anti-nausea medication beforehand. The second day we did a tour of Phang Nga Bay. We were picked up for this tour around 4am in order to arrive at the sea caves before the tide filled them. On arriving to the caves via boat, we were able to first walk through them on foot then do more exploring in our kayaks. This turned out to be a highlight of the trip. Ryan was our tour guide and we loved him.

Went on a full day Khao Lak Safari tour and it was great. The tour included bamboo rafting in nice rainforest setting and calm waters approx 30-40 min. We spotted cobras, mambas sleeping up in the trees. Afterwards a short bus trip to the Lamu national park for a walk to a beauteous beach for a swim. After an hour back to the bus for a trip to a turtle farm inside the naval force station! After watching cute turtles in different sizes it was lunch time at a waterfall. After lunch we drove north for an hour- usually the tour visits an elephant camp nearby but due to high season right now it was fully booked. The camp selected this time was absolutely great. The treeking was serious with the elephant striving up a rocky muddy path and downwards- boy that was a thrilling ride! The elephant keeper took lots of pictures of us with our own camera. Do not forget to buy and feed the elephat bananas after the treeking!! Recommended!!!

Man wird im Hotel abgeholt und dann geht's auch schon los, leider überwiegend auf der Strasse. Nichts wirklich Interessantes geboten. Regelrecht geschämt habe ich mich über die extrem rücksichtslose Fahrweise gegenüber anderen Verkehrsteilnehmer. Schwere Verletzungen, z.B. von Motorradfahrern werden lechtferig und erschreckend häufig in Kauf genommen.

Trouver des excursions en Français à Khao lak n'est pas évident ! Heureusement nous sommes tombés sur Hugues ! Nous avons choisis trois excursions : - James Bond Island : très touristique mais à voir. Visite d'un temple, puis départ sur l'île pour admirer le rocher de James Bond et visite d'un village sur l'eau. - Similand Island : à ne pas louper !! Plages paradisiaques, baignade avec les poissons et nous avons même eu la chance de nager avec les tortues !! - Khao Lak Safari : Petite ballade sportive dans une forêt tropicale, promenade en radeau de bambou et ballade à dos d'éléphant ! Nous avons adoré les trois, nous avons aimé l'implication de Hugues et de tous les membres de l'équipe (toujours au petits soins à vous proposer à boire, à manger, des petites lingettes rafraîchissante) ! Un grand merci pour tous ces bons moments. Vous pouvez leur faire confiance les yeux fermés !
