Khao Lak (La On)- view to the south

Khao Lak is one of the fastest growing resort and tourist destinations in Thailand. Although there is a steady rise in numbers, Khao Lak has maintained, until today, its tranquillity and peace from the "old days". It's still possible to walk through Khao Lak village (La On) in just 20 minutes and have seen it all. Bang Niang, the next little village to the north of Khao Lak (La On) is even smaller but has a very good range of all the facilities needed. The most striking and breathtaking feature about Khao Lak are the endless beaches and the tropical rainforest (National park) in the background.
