    Khao Sok Jungle Explorations
Elephant riding
Jungle taxi in action

Whether you want to do an elephant trek, canoe local rivers, explore the caves in the limestone, stay overnight in a tree house or a bamboo raft or just hike some jungle treks; we have the best and provide you with lots of insight and extensive experience about the wildlife in this outstanding environment. Khao Sok National Park protects 645 sq.km, it features both "tropical evergreen" and "true" rainforests. You would have to make a choice between a one day tour that will give you the opportunity to do some canoeing, elephant trekking or jungle walking. Or you stay overnight and explore the nature a bit deeper. If you have the time we would recommend just that. Khao Sok is one of the oldest rainforests on earth and has a lot to offer for the wildlife- and nature-lover; true memories for a life time.

Khao Sok Discovery - Full Day Tour

Canoeing
Canoeing on Sok river

Come with us and explore the habitat of wild elephant, tiger, bear, hornbill, gibbon and many more for a day.
We will depart from Khao Lak around 08.30 and drive a scenic road up north to Khao Sok NP for the first stop at the Jungle Elephant Camp. For 1,5 hours you will experience the tropical nature from the back of an elephant, crossing rivers, up and down the mountains with good views of Flora and Fauna.
Lunch time is also a bit of relaxing time (following the ride on the jungle taxi) and after our beautiful Thai meal we will hang out at a small river for some bathing, monkey watching, etc.
Khao Sok is named after the "Sok River", on which we will embark for a 2 hour canoe trek. No worries, there will be a special guide in the canoe with you, to steer you safely around bushes, sandbanks and some smaller rapids.
If you don't like either one of our Day Tour options (elephant trek or canoe trek), it's also possible to do a 2 hour jungle walk to explore the nature on foot instead. - To search for the world's biggest flower for example, the Rafflesia Flower.

Our activities for the two days will include guided jungle treks, explorations in the river-canoe, on foot into caves and valleys of the rainforest and of course on the back of an elephant as well. With a bit of luck we can see the world's biggest flower, the Rafflesia that blooms nearly all year round in different locations of the Park, listen to the call of the Gibbon in the afternoon or you just enjoy the scenery passing by while floating down the Sok river on a tube
